Convenient to Indian river, Portsmouth. Thecrestaurant was ok, lots of menu choices, decent food, atmosphere a bit dated and austere. Rooms were large with wifi and cable. Ours had a kitchenette with instant coffee provided. No option for heated hair appliances to be plugged in and the wall outlets were odd but you could charge phone, iPad etc. There are several good beach bars nearby as well as gas stations. Breakfast with 3 options is free if you book directly. It starts at 8:30 am.

this was fine for a short stay at a budget rate. the location is safe and quiet and the place is clean, but there were no Covid protections in place. The studios have no phone to reception, toiletries and water are not replaced, and staff not particularly attentive. Not a single staff wore a mask except on request.

Riverside Hotel Lilongwe provides clean and affordable accommodation. Its near City Centre. Rooms are large with large double beds. It has restaurant's on site and provides good food and value for money. Manager Vipin provided excellent customer service. Staff are good and always eager to help. Overall good food, good accommodation, affordable and clean.
