AMAZING. We stayed here with our 5 month old baby and the team were incredible. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The duty manager Ross was absolutely wonderful and really helped us with our baby, we were very grateful to him. The food was exceptional, especially dinner at the garden house! Can’t recommend this hotel enough and am looking forward to returning in the future.

Rather disappointed with our experience last night, on the 21st April, 2024 at the Beaverbrook Garden House restaurant. We visited two years ago and the reason we came back was because the service received and the general warmth of the staff were exceptional. In 2022, the doorman was there to meet and greet at the House. This time a surly doorman came down to greet in an unwelcoming way. The two other reception staff flanking the entrance had no greeting to offer until you greeted them and they mumbled a barely audible hello. Why put them there? Get them to do something else as they were clearly unsuited for the very simple job. The restaurant had run out of mint sauce, ahem!! but credit to them they made up a batch of mint and pistachio paste which was weird but forgiveable. It was my daughter's 40th and the tiny offcuts of brownie and a few berries by way of birthday platter took ages to arrive having already finished our desserts a while ago. Perhaps because the entire focus of the staff was for a new party at a larger table with no attention being paid to most other diners. Having a beautiful locale is one thing, but when it is marked by unimpressive service with zero warmth and personality, the management need to understand that the market is highly competitive and there are plenty of options out there where one can spend one’s money.

We had pizza at the Coach House. The service was very good but the pizza was nothing special. We then decided to walk to the hotel for a browse and felt unwelcomed by the man at the door! He wanted to know why we wanted to go in when they don’t do afternoon tea. When we did go inside we felt like we were being watched in a zoo. Not a diverse place to be welcomed

The most amazing stay at Beaverbrook, from the moment we arrived we were so well looked after. The service at the hotel was impeccable, as was the food and overall experience. Would highly recommend! Such a beautiful hotel and perfect destination for a night away!

I booked Beaverbrook as a surprise to propose to my girlfriend and it was quite honestly the happiest day of my life. From the minute we arrived, everyone made us feel so welcome and although it was a busy period over Easter weekend, the service felt like we were the only two people in the hotel. Every staff member went the extra mile to make us feel special and to chat to us and we got the impression that they all genuinely loved working there. I wish I noted down more of their names so they could get the credit they all deserve but Nicole who greeted us upon arrival and James in the garden room reception were a huge credit to the immaculate service across the board. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, the perfect setting for a proposal. I couldn’t get over how private and peaceful it was, even though it was 100% full in the Easter period. We had an incredible dinner in the Japanese grill and a drink in sir franks bar. Equally astounded by the service in there. Then stayed the night in the garden house which was glorious. I thought it may be a bit of a faff being away from the main house and spa, but if anything the buggy rides add to the experience. Our room was so peaceful and surprisingly big for one of the ‘cosy’ ones. Topped off by an amazing breakfast the following morning, the amazing standard of service carried through the whole time. All staff going above and beyond and with a friendly smile on their face. Can’t thank you all enough for the most incredible experience. Will be back again for sure

I had an Excellent stay here, the staff are welcoming and extremely helpful. They have great knowledge of the facilities and also happy to give recommendations on what to do or what to eat in each restaurant on site. The rooms were impeccably clean with all the amenities you could need. The bed was spacious and comfy with high quality bedding so I had a fantastic nights sleep. Would definitely recommend the Spa facilities to anyone visiting and a walk through the gardens. Then head to Sir Frank's Bar for a cocktail, I enjoyed the Spitefire Collins and Run Rabbit Run. I would like to thank Cameron and Daniel in the bar for their service and suggestions on drinks. Also Emily who helped book our restaurant reservations after a change of plan.

Haven’t stayed at the hotel but we had lunch in the garden room for a birthday celebration. It was a great experience! The staff were absolutely lovely. Made us feel welcome and wanted! Food was so delicious. The grounds are stunning and we had a great time !

Absolutely wonderful stay at Beaverbrook. From the beginning to the end of our stay we felt like royalty. Nothing was too much to ask and the service was outstanding. We were upgraded on arrival as a special treat for my birthday which was highly appreciated. We can’t wait to return.

I am looking for a venue for a lunch to celebrate my wife’s birthday next month (probably about 12 to 18 people). I went there today to look at their restaurants and talk to staff about the arrangements, as I had thought it might be a nice surprise for her. However, they would not let me in at the front gate. I phoned and explained that I had travelled some distance, not knowing access is restricted and explained why I was parked at the end of the drive, and could I pop up and take a look? No. I could book a reservation in each restaurant, then dine in each and then decide which was most suitable – a rather silly suggestion and ignoring my other obvious option – take my business elsewhere, somewhere more friendly and welcoming. In some way more annoying is that no where on their web site does it make clear that one is not permitted to even view the facilities and setting, unless a paying guest. Strange way to run a hospitality business. Not for me.
