Laiterie de Tocqueville B&B

A beautiful remodel of the old dairy processing building. It’s so cozy & clean and the owners and so nice and want to make sure you know what to see in the area. Wonderful breakfast too!

We stayed here as a stop between Mont Saint-Michel and Bayeux and we wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were SO kind and generous! We were there on a Sunday and all the shops were closed- I asked our host if he knew a place where we could buy cider (since that is a local specialty), he said that everything was closed. Shortly afterwards, he appears with a bottle of his own cider, ice cold, and serves us complimentary glasses! So kind! The room was very spacious, the hotel itself has been renovated to a very high standard- it used to be a milk factory! Breakfast was very good- lots of homemade breads, homemade yougurt that was delicious, cheeses and meats, fruit, etc. I would 100% recommend staying here and make it more than one day!

Our hosts, Patrick and Laurence, were generous, considerate and genuinely hospitable throughout our stay. They ensured that my soon-to-be mother-in-law had access to a wheelchair along with a handicap-friendly room on the ground floor. In addition to their elderly-friendly inclination, the hosts ensured we were at all times comfortable and well fed. The all inclusive breakfast was very fresh and beared the most delicious croissants, cheese, meats, jams, peaches, granola, yoghurts and more. The Laiterie’s grounds were very calm, quiet, relaxing and well kept. The interior design was a refreshing mix of classic meets contemporary while the atrium was abundant with natural sunlight, flourishing floral arrangements and stunning orchids. Our room was also quite the sight, it was very big with both a jacuzzi style bathtub and walk-in shower. There was even a view with a small table for two. The bed was comfortable and the premise felt incredibly safe & secure. It was the first place in our trip to France where we felt as though we could leave the door unlocked while we walked the charming countryside. The entire experience was a rural & historical delight. Our hosts guided us towards a lovely beach and an off-site restaurant serving excellent seafood. They even showed us where to find an oyster vending machine that serves 24/7 oysters, lemons and tools for shucking. We’re incredibly grateful for Patrick and Laurence’s calming presence and their local knowledge. The Laiterie de Tocqueville was definitely a highlight of our trip and we look forward to visiting again!

Merveilleux séjour à la laiterie. Emplacement parfait pour découvrir les trésors du Cotentin, la maison est belle, les chambres simples mais décorées avec goût. Accueil doux et attentif, plein de bons conseil. Coup de cœur pour les petits déjeuners sous la verrière. Adresse à connaître !

Dans une ancienne laiterie, des chambres spacieuses et bien équipées à la propreté impeccable et tres calmes. L’accueil de la propriétaire est chaleureux et ses explications sur la transformation de ce bâtiment sont très interessantes. Joli salon avec cheminée et grande véranda pour un très bon petit dejeuner complètent cet agréable séjour. Une adresse à retenir .

Très bon accueil, les chambres sont très belles, confortables et propres. Le petit déjeuner, excellent avec ses produits frais. L'endroit est à proximité de beaucoup de points d'intérêts. On recommande vivement !

Rien que du très bon ! Endroit sublime, authentique et calme, Patrick et Laurence adorables, petit déjeuner de très haut niveau avec des produits sélectionnés …À recommander les yeux fermés, même s’il est recommandé de les ouvrir pour profiter au maximum…! 😉

Nous avons passé un bon moment dans cet bel endroit. la laiterie a été magnifiquement restaurée. Le personnel est très accueillant et de bons conseils. Je recommande vivement.

Conseillée sur divers blogs de visite du Cotentin, nous avons passé quelques jours très sympathiques chez Laurence et Patrick. C’est la halte idéale pour rayonner dans la région, tout en profitant de cette belle maison, au calme et au milieu de la verdure. Les chambres sont très confortables et le petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux. Il y a beaucoup de choses à visiter aux alentours, des randonnées, de très jolis villages et des restaurants à découvrir !
