We loved everything about this property. The location is wonderful, right in the middle of the old town so that you can walk to sights and restaurants. The room was very modern and the bed was comfortable. The two people who worked the reception were extremely welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was one of the best we have had and served in an amazing room that sits over the old cisterns (that you can go down into and explore).

All staff working in Corte san pietro had their own responsibility to help and support their guest, perfectly. It was my best choice to stay in Matera and because of their great hospitality, we had a wonderful honeymoon in Italy. I could feel their love towards their facilities. Please choose this hotel, if you are planning to come to Matera.

A charming and unique hotel with an exceptional level of service, retaining all the charm of the Sassi. A most enjoyable stay and base to explore the heart of Matera. Excellent hotel . Nice touches like personal nameplate on door , fresh fruit in room , super clean large room , excellent staff !
