"This is by far the best hostel I stayed at, in spite of the number of occupants. I was lucky to have very quiet boys in the room. There’s only one bathroom, connected to the room, but it worked. The hostel is new, modern and spotless. The owner is very friendly. The hostel is also 5 minutes walk from the beach. It was perfect. It’s a long walk to Albufeira from the city buses, and not very clear where the FlixBus stops. I wouldn’t recommend walking from the train station, which took me 4 hours. There’s a local bus, don’t scrimp = TAKE IT. Or take an Uber, or Bolt. Or ask the taxi what he wants to charge from the bus stop at the train station ! The RedeExpress is where the bus station is (but not for the FlixBus). In summary, you can go to Albufeira by FlixBus, but it’s difficult to know where FlixBus leaves Albufeira from. That all said, Albufeira is very difficult in high season, TOO CROWDED, but the Portuguese are tolerant and very patient because they know that tourism is lucrative and has raised the whole country out of poverty. Residents enjoy cheap and / or free public transport on local buses (cheap monthly passes). Residents are respectful and kind. You can practice your Portuguese with them for a laugh, but they all speak English to varying degrees. Here you can meet real residents. On the beach, not necessarily in the pubs. I loved it here. Don’t miss it."

"Маленькая, но чистая комната. Регистрация в отель была в магазине (я не сразу поняла куда идти, зашла просто адрес уточнить. Оказалось что касса магазина вместо ресепшен)😀. В номере капсула для кофе, а сама кухня на верхнем этаже - с возможностью самостоятельно готовить, стирать, с кофе машиной и холодильником. Локация рядом с пляжем в старом городе, вокруг кафе и магазины. Единственный вопрос - кругом брусчатка, тяжело катить чемодан. Но это не вопрос к отелю, просто надо быть готовым. Интернет отличный. Тихо, комфортно. Рекомендую для недолгого проживания в этом городе."

"We are glad that we booked this hotel. The beach view was breathtaking and remarkable. Not to mention its excellent location where the old town cobbled street is just right in front of the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast where they offered great selections and indeed one of the best breakfasts we've tried in our Portugal trip. Hotel staff were mostly friendly, especially those in the restaurant, except for the housekeeping staff who refused to give us extra drinking water on the next morning even before we checked out."

"Fomos muito bem recebidos no hotel Mar à vista. Houve um overbooking e fomos transferidos para um outro hotel da rede, Hotel Auramar, sem custos adicionais. Excelente recepção e comodidades. Estendemos por mais dia em outro hotel da rede, ambos na beira da praia e mantido o valor da diária inicial. Atendimento e instalações excelentes. Recomendo muito."

"The hotel is very well located, 15 minutes from the city center and right next to the beach. It is charmingly decorated and has a great view towards the city and the ocean. Some things are a bit old and could be better cared for. Our room could definitely use a renovation but still retains a great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the breakfast organization today, not enough plates and cutlery and most no one to lift up the tables. Food was also scarse but tasty."

"My hubby and I spent an AMAZING 5 nights at the Holiday Inn in Albufeira. From the moment I walked in, we knew we were in for a treat 💁️. The staff were ABSOLUTE STARS 🤩 - super friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. The hospitality was top-notch, and it really made my holiday 💖. The hotel and the rooms were immaculate. The breakfast buffet was great. Several options, and everything was freshly made 🍳. The hotel's indoor pool, all be it a bit small, was warm and the steam room and sauna a great treat. And let's not forget the location - the hotel is right in the heart of Albufeira, so everything is within walking distance 🏃♀️. Hotel is on a hill but we soon get used to it. Ubers and Bolt are also a great alternative and are pretty reasonably priced. Overall, I'd give the Holiday Inn Albufeira a solid 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday, and I'd totally recommend it to anyone looking for a fab time in Albufeira 🙌!"
