Greenfields Tourist Inn offers the basics at a budget price. The room is simple—you get what you pay for. It comes with its own CR, is reasonably clean, and hygiene is maintained. The property also has a pool, which is a plus if you want to relax on-site.
However, there are several drawbacks that need attention. The walk to Alona Beach takes about 10–15 minutes, which is farther compared to other hotels in the area. Inside the room, mosquitoes were a problem, and the air conditioning left the floor damp and uncomfortable. The linen and blanket provided were very thin, making sleep less cozy and not ideal for longer stays.
Overall, Greenfields Tourist Inn is fine if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option with basic amenities, but expect compromises in comfort and convenience.
Great location near Aloha Beach with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, very easy to get food and move around. Staff were helpful and friendly. However, the room was arranged near the water pump, which was very noisy throughout the stay. The room itself was very basic, suitable for a simple short stay.
JJiri KabeleWe had an amazing stay at this resort, especially the breakfast. There are many pools and a calm beach, and the gym is very good. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling.
However, there are a few things that could be improved:
1. The Wi-Fi access ends at 11 AM, which is quite strange and inconvenient.
2. You are not allowed to use the pools after your checkout.
3. You are not allowed to use the sunbeds with umbrellas after your checkout.
4. The beach is clean, but there is still a lot of “water grass” and the water is not very deep for swimming.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe perfect stay in Panglao, Bohol. Owner and staff were very accomodating, went extra mile to provide snacks and guides. The whole place looks new and very clean. Amenities and common areas are very well thought of and well ventilated. Interior was artistic but felt like home away from home. Highly recommended stay.
GGFYMFCDefinitely one of the better hotel/resorts that I've encountered during my travels in the Philippines. The hotel itself is located in a beautifully secluded lot that's surrounded by vegetation & conveniently placed a stones throw away from the main commercial centre which hosts a supermarket & even a DIY shop.
The rooms are very comfortable, clean & all come with a balcony & modern AC as standard.
But the best part is the large pool which lights up at night & is by the restaurant which serves good coffee, pizza & an excellent Thai curry.
If you have transport then i would highly recommend staying here.
MMPBCGood place to stay but we are hoping they would be able keep up with the quality of service Solea Mactan is giving.
We appreciate the birthday surprise and nice room view.
Breakfast is just okay. Not so wide selection but will make you full. We loved the cookies.
PPaolo UIt was great stay for two nights in Harmony Hotel. We never experienced the mosquito problem others shared.
Only problem was the toilet flooring not being leveled proper so water will go straight to drain.
Ms Anne, the reception was very corteous. Also, they let me do luggage storage as I needed to early chrck-out but cant proceed to next hotel yet because of scheduled activity
Easy to fly drones out fron their rooms with balconies.
Dghan lang og amigas na gagmay
Ccharlene maePros:
-Beautiful swimming pool w/lifeguard
-clean room
-Gugma Restaurant serves delicious food
-friendly staff except for that one female front desk in the morning as well as the no show manager
Cons:
-Misleading Information and must be updated! The ad shows that the hotel has all the amenities that we looked for are wifi/wired internet in the rooms, swimming pool and few steps from the beach but it's not. We checked in late at night and the location is far from the beach, wifi is available at their Gazebo or lobby area with mosquitos.
-There are 2 different hotel branches, one is few steps from Alona beach proper with wifi in the rooms but no pool and the other one is their 2nd newer branch which is 1 tuktuk ride away from Alona beach proper no wifi in the rooms, wired internet isn't working but with swimming pool.
-I was upfront to the hotelier that I travel for work and measure and need all those amenities that were stated on the website, but the remedy they kept insisting is to move us to their other branch which is older, no pool with wifi in the room as they do not have the wifi nor wired internet in their room at their 2nd hotel and that we can just go their in the morning to use their pool 🤣
-No one from the hotel apologize, not even a Manager's shadow reachout
-Trip.com said sorry and provide compensation but it's not enough for the lost working hours due to the mosquito bites I had while I tried to work at the lobby but was not able to tolerate it as I am afraid of having Dengue, did not get anything from the hotel's management
-tricycle/tuktuk will cost you 100 pesos per way PRICEY
-we tried to walk to the beach as there is another route close to the 2nd hotel but the way is rocky and stairs were steep as it was meant for divers or island Hopper not the white ***** that were posted on the website
-corkage fee so better to buy at the restaurant at the hotel or eat outside
**AGAIN THERE ARE 2 DIFFERENT HOTEL BRANCH WITH DIFFERENT ADDRESSES AND AMENITIES, SO BE CAREFUL IN BOOKING ESPECIALLY IF YOU TRAVEL FOR WORK AND NEEDS WIFI IN THE ROOM.
NNilds79We always enjoyed and loved our stay at this hotel. My family and I always love to stay in this hotel. The room is clean, the pool and the white beach only few steps from the building. The food wasn't that bad.
