Muy bonito, con un estilo tradicional y un anfitrión súper amable. Está ubicado en un barrio tradicional muy tranquilo en el cual puedes ver la vida cotidiana de Japón, gran experiencia
The location was very convenient as it is located just one block from the main street and the train station. However the journey to get the key for the room was a puzzle, they sent the instructions in English but the touch screen was totally in Japanese with no eng option. It wasn't easy to correlate the symbols there with the instructions provided, especially as the key room didn't have air conditioner and the hot air became very soffocating (we suggest to put instructions in English on the side to make this experience bearable)
The room was fine, but it wasn't clean at all and the ceiling had mould on the corners due to poor ventilation. Since day one we found spiders inside the room, probably due to lack of cleanliness. Our daughters and I were bitten by several mosquitoes as well. The toilet space was very miniscule, yet it served its mission. There were not enough spoons and forks for our family even when we specified the amount of people staying in the room. Not to mention the beds were not very comfortable. On the last day, I was very surprised they sent an email requesting to leave before 10 am, mentioning they had a tight cleaning scheduled, we thought it was odd that the departure time was 10 am yet they wanted us to go before that. We had to leave early anyway but we still thought it was odd. But I think the rules just have to be followed and let people leave on the previous time agreed. It was a hotel that served its mission overall and with an excellent location yet the cleanliness and room overall has a lot to make it better for the comfort of its clients... But at this moment I would not recommend this hotel
ผผู้เข้าพักI had a very pleasant stay at Wind Villa! The owner is personally running the business and taking care of every detail to make the stay in his guesthouse an unforgettable experience! I felt welcome from the very first moment I entered his guesthouse as I was able to check-in before the official time, without any additional costs. The kitchen is fully equipped, there’s a washing machine + dryer, a living room for eating, working, socializing, relaxing… I also loved the massage chair which was also free to use! I liked alot the chat with Ace (the owner) about the japanese culture, and about his unique experience with travelling! I’d certainly love to come again to his guesthouse! Thanks for the great experience!
DDreamscomeTrueVery nice ambience and a new luxurious hotel in Kyoto close to the 清水寺。 Restaurant choices are quite limited inside the hotel complex but they have got a great spa with excellent service staff. Down the hill should be some international restaurants at Park Hyatt Kyoto another luxurious five star hotel. Breakfast bento boxes not too appetising and not much food selections for in room dining as well. But the neighbourhood was quiet and nice.
