Stayed here two nights in mid-January 2023. Hotel is located in a gritty area, with much construction, but just a five minute walk to the main train station, with many transit connections. It's about a 10 - 20 minute walk to various tourist sites in the city. There are convenience stores and dining options nearby. Staff was OK but not overly friendly. Single room was small, but clean and the price was fair. There was a heating/AC unit on the wall but one button was missing and it didn't appear to be working. Temp was OK. There was a small desk and chair. Shower and sink were in the room and toilet in a small closet. The window opened into a narrow ventilation shaft so it was rather dark. Wifi, lights and TV worked fine. I didn't pay for the breakfast. It wasn't great, but it did the trick.
Location is great, in the middle of the city and walking distance to two metro stops, one of them is Sait Catherine. A lot of options to eat and drink around the area. Great location for young people. Hotel is business hotel with minimum facilities. But it is absolutely clean and modern, including very useful USB charger points even right next to the bed on both sides of the the bed. And the room (3rd floor) is quite small. The room I got was facing courtyard so, not much of a view. So, do not expect a great view as the hotel is in the middle of many other buildings. And the air conditioning was working well! When check-in the staff I met, Roberto and Haward, were very friendly, professional and efficient. As I arrived quite early, they did their best to get me a room earlier than usual check-in time. They were courteous and helpful. So, thanks to both of them. On the contrary, other younger staff (looked like interns/new staff, has much to learn from persons like Haward and Roberto. Suggestions: it would have been nice if there were a couple of drinking water bottles, a standard in many such business hotels. Especially, the price of the room was not that cheap, we paid about 180Euro per room per night.
Great service at the hotel from the reception to the cocktail bar to the breakfast staff. Rooms we’re comfortable with a comfy bed and all you require for a few nights away. Location was €10 taxi from Centraal Station or a 20min walk through a few lovely parks. Great park on doorstep of hotel with ducks and a large pond and 3-4 min walk from Tootbus stop. Variety of restaurants/places to drink outside of the hotel away from the busy central area.
This was the second time this year that we have decided to stay at the Sheraton Airport prior to our return trip home. While the hotel is overpriced it is so convenient for departure and it eliminates the anxiety regarding taxi or transit strikes (something that seems to be a cultural event). The hotel offers great service; friendly and efficient check in and checkout, good response to requests (extra towels), etc. While it seems to be appearing “a little tired” (light bulbs flickering, some new paint required) I have found it to be clean, comfortable and has the hottest water I have experienced anywhere in the world. Gullivers restaurant has adequate service and food although the wait time for meals in the evening can be a test of patience. Breakfast is much quicker and if you wish the breakfast buffet, it is complete and well presented. The coffee we had there both times was the best we have had anywhere during our past month in Belgium! Regarding the waiters in the evening (January 2nd) I must say the women staff and one man (I believe his name was Driss) were the ones doing the work. They constantly circulated the areas and responded to guest requests and needs, the other men just took up space. I had to mention this because it was just so obvious.
As a regular visitor to Campanile in Vilvoorde I can only say that the food was magnificent. I stay in Campanile every couple of months for business and when Elvira is cooking in the kitchen the food is always amazing The hotel rooms could do with a a refurb and new mattress but the staff are always welcoming and make the stay enjoyable. Speacial mention to Danson and Lorena

ผผู้เข้าพักExcellent quite location, but still very close to everything in town! Great and quite extensive breakfast spread every morning and a very helpful and welcoming staff! Loved everything about this stay, and hope to return someday soon!!!
ผผู้เข้าพักBefore booking this hotel currently be advised that the lobby is under complete renovation and there is a temporary registration desk on the ground floor of the hotel. Additionally, they are installing new elevators, however the existing elevators are very old and one of them wouldn’t service the floor I was staying on. The rest of the hotel has been completely upgraded, with very nice rooms. The main issue was that Belgium was under a heat wave while I was visiting with temperatures in the high 80s. My air conditioner was blowing warm air and I asked three different times to have it fixed to no avail. I ended up sleeping in a very hot room with the windows opened and had to listen to very loud crowds which apparently congregate all night on the street below, so know that the “historic views”come at a price with loud noise. I live in Chicago so I am used to noise at night, but constant loud conversation and laughing one level below is very bothersome. The breakfast is being served in the executive lounge, so for Marriott elites just be forewarned that the breakfast is very crowded with all hotel guests being served in the lounge, however the quality of the breakfast was nice with very friendly staff. This hotel will be nice when they finish it — just be forewarned about the street noise and staff who will not fix the air conditioning, creating a very undesirable stay from a Marriott Platinum Elite guest.
ผผู้เข้าพักWould highly recommend this hotel. Stayed 3 nights with breakfast included. Central location , walking distance to Brussels Central, large selection of restaurants & shopping district. Hotel spotless, breakfast very adequate, staff very friendly & welcoming from check in, to dining, to the cleaning staff. Credit to all the staff. If I was to pick a flaw, it would be to upgrade carpets in room, but it's a minor thing to complain about.
The location was great for our purpose: visiting Christmas market and do some shopping. Our room was situated at the back side of the building so it was quiet. We were surprised by the garden in between the buildings but as it was winter we did not sit outside of course. Maybe this causes some noise in summer to guests, our room was located on ground floor with view on the garden. Beds were very comfortable. We did not take breakfast at the hotel so we can't judge that (we found it expensive). The pictures do not really correspond to the reality as the pictures look a lot better. When you see the pictures you expect a modern and very attractive ”room”. But in reality it needs some works and refreshments. Not only the bedroom with kitchenette but also the bathroom. Besides that the equipment in the ”kitchenette” is very limited and the coffee machine is the old system with a filter. This is not what we expect in a modern hotel. Also, you only have one chair to sit at the very small table, not comfortable if you want to cook and eat in your room (we did not do this as we stayed only for 1 night but in an apartment hotel you normally do this). For this price we've stayed in better accommodations already. We would come again because of the location and if we can book at a good price. But our advice is: refresh this hotel. We had some problems as we were charged twice for our stay and it took a while to solve this as the hotel was not very responsive. It got fixed in the end but it is a pity you have to invest so much time and energy in this as a guest for a clear mistake from their side.
