9Hotel Central

Booked this hotel because of its proximity to Brussels Central station, but there are lots of pathment repairs so it was challenging with 2 large luggages. Service staff was pleasant and helpful in suggesting alternative breakfast places. This hotel is in an old building, so hallways are dim and the red painted walls make it worst. There is also no fridge in the room. As the Aircon is not working, we left the window open to circulate the air, and was surprised to find people intruding from the balcony (likely guests from adjacent room…. Hopefully!!)

Really nicely laid out/designed room with a central location. However the shower temperate is inadequate where it was luke warm the entire stay. Nice place but the higher price compared to other properties was not fitting for the stay.

For vacationers / tour participantss on the move, this little hotel is a few steps to an entrance of the Subway (you see M at subway entries/exits). From there, you are in the Central Hub of the railway system of Belgium. Front desk answers emails and someone picks up the phone. Friendly nice staff. I highly recommend for travellers like us.

We had a lovely stay at 9hotel central. We arrived earlier then check in to drop off our bags but they instead let us check in early which made a huge different after a lot of travelling. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a wide enough range of options and was very tasty - especially the freshly made waffles! Rooms were clean and well presented. Only slight flaw was that is was very noisy from the road but I think that's to be expected in the city. Very easy to get to the shops, train station and winter markets by walking. Overall great hotel.

Hotel is located in close proximity to a cathedral where its bell rings every 15 minutes. We stayed on the 6th floor and you could hear road noise/pedestrians on the pavement. Overall the hotel was great but the quality of sleep due to the surrounding noise was the worst I’ve experienced.

It was unique hotel within walking distance of all the tourist spots in Brussels. It was very close to train and metro stations to take visit the Grand Place and Mini Europe. The breakfast was really good and the staff was excellent.

The room is close to central train station which you can use to take day trips all over Belgium or to take you to another station to visit other countries. It was also just a quick walk to the Christmas market and many restaurants. We had nice large windows we could open and here the church bells ring ( your view though is into another building across the street). The breakfast is a simple breakfast, mixed cheeses, mixed salted meats, whole fruit, hard boiled eggs and scrambled. Cereal and a waffle maker are available as well as toast. As for the what could be improved … The pillows in the room were extremely uncomfortable, we woke up with sore necks every day and had issues falling asleep. We had stayed for over 7 days and only asked for the room to be cleaned once during that time, they barely cleaned the room as there was dust through out and the bathroom was not cleaned just towels replaced. The hair dryer was very very low power and the shampoo and body wash was empty since day one and never filled. Overall this was a good hub for us as we traveled throughout the region, if you plan on using the train this is a great location.

Had a great stay. Room ready on arrival and helped us with bags etc in our last day. Very helpful staff and very friendly. Excellent location as well.

At first we were nervous for this hotel due to the location. Aesthetically speaking it’s not in a glamorous looking part of town. However, after doing a bit of exploring it was actually perfectly located and safe! Very close (I mean footsteps away) from the nearest subway, walking distances to Brussels sites. Would recommend this hotel to any first timer!
