Atlantica Beach Resort Kos

Fabulous beach front location. Great grounds with beach, lawn, busy pool, quiet pool - something for everyone. Food varied and tasty. A watch out: if you are offered rooms 600+, you will be in the Residence part of the hotel - inland/have to cross a road to get there. Not all bad though as it has its own pool and bar with a lot less crowds. You will end up walking a lot though - which we didn’t mind, but others might. Not sure why the hotel restricts a la carte restaurants to once per stay instead of once per week. It was very empty when we went. Italian food was not that much better than main restaurant so you are not massively missing out. Store merchandise was very expensive, but not sure if this would be same across all hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is our second year in a row staying at the prestigious Atlantica Beach Resort and what a gem it is! Another year with even less faults than last year! It just keeps getting better and better! All the staff are incredible; particularly the restaurant staff who had been a delight with my little 4 year old for the past week. The entertainment team have also been a real treat to my family, what a way to finish a perfect day each day and every day! A big thumbs up to the cleaning fairies here and the reception staff saved us by accommodating on our last day for late check out (because we all know how tricky it can be for for a 11am checkout but the flight isn’t until midnight - thankfully we managed to get our room until 6pm! Game changer! We were also spoiled for choice with food in all restaurants - especially in the Greek and the Italian restaurants. Throughout the hotel it has an authentic Greek feel with a modern twist in the main reception and bar area. They even have a games arcade outdoor and a playground for children. Literally perfection! 5 out of 5 stars and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!! Perfect for couples, families and even solo travelers. I am actually debating coming back for a 3rd time which I don’t think I have ever done to a resort before as I am usually a fan of trying new places! Thank you Atlantica Beach Resort!

The hotel grounds are beautiful! But sadly the hotel reception staff are very rude! Our tv did not work from day 1, we reported several times but was never fixed. We had 3 children with us, youngest was 18months old. We asked for late check out! And they said yes no problem come back day before you leave! Which we did and they told us there was no availability. They offered a 30min slot in the communal showers for a family of 7. At 3.30pm when we got there we had to also share with 3 other family’s. There communal toilets and showers and some rooms have frosted glass doors that are not private at all! Rooms look clean but when you pull beds out there is a lot of dust underneath. I have stayed in 3/4 star hotels which have been better than this hotel!!! Be warned that this hotel is literally out in the sticks! No shop or restaurant near by! Taxi wait from hotel in May was 40min wait from hotel!!! Evening entertainment not great! Cocktail bar always full in the evening and they have bar stalls all around it!!! So unless you are lucky and get a seat and stay there you will be fine!! Definitely wouldn’t stay at this hotel again….

Beautiful calming spa experience. Maro is very friendly and professional she gave a very instense yet beautiful back massage. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is feeling tense and needed to de stress. I left feeling relaxed and energised at the same time. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼😍

The entertainment team have been fantastic with their pool side entertainment comprising of water workouts during the day and night time disco for kids. The team is good at getting children engaged and making sure every kid is having a good time.

It was very relaxing, they were so friendly. Gianna worked very proffessional and asked if everything was okay and if i liked it. All the other woman were so kind and they respect you and youre preferences. The music was very relaxing and peacefull.

My wife and I got married last week at the Atlantica Beach Hotel. The day itself was a 5 out of 5 star. The photographer was pricey but his photography skills were incredible. Evie was our wedding coordinator and she did a fantastic job and made our day even more special. 5 /5. It was the best day we could have ever asked for. When we first arrived at the hotel we were allegedly given an upgraded room, free of charge as we were getting married (how exciting!). Go to the room 562, it was the smallest room I’ve ever seen in an all-inclusive hotel. We had a tiny wardrobe that somehow had to fit a wedding dress in, let alone our normal holiday clothes. Our balcony had a table and two chairs but you had to climb over the table or move the chairs/table to actually get on the balcony. The steps to our room were fairly steep and we had 20+ plus for my wife to get down in a wedding dress. My mum and other guests at our wedding were about double the size. When I went to reception and said about this they refused to move us until 2 days time. Go back two days later, they didn’t have a room for us. After speaking with the Tui rep we eventually got a normal room. Still wasn’t great but it was a damn site better than the original one. Their excuse was that one of their reception managers quit on the day after we got there, not sure how that’s our problem. We did not feel special at all from the hotel management. Quite happy to take our money but didn’t look after us at all. The reception staff took the brunt of my frustration which I did apologise for as they were all amazing and friendly. Reception staff 5/5 Management 1/5. Every member of staff worked incredibly hard, from the pool bar staff, entertainment team, and bell boys. All were very welcoming. The entertainment team, Jaden, Sipho and Shayla were brilliant, had a good laugh and knew how to interact with the guests, 5 out of 5. Night entertainment The entertainment was very hit-and-miss. For kids, it was the same every night, for adults it was an hour of singing and dancing but felt very repetitive. Restaurants The normal buffet We were there for 11 nights, the food felt very samey and not much changed from night to night. They had themed nights but they changed a few dishes and that was about it. I’ve been to another Atlantica in Rhodes and they had a two-week meal plan which was great but here we felt that we were repeating quite a lot. 3/5 A la carte Italian The Italian restaurant is a buffet but it is different from the normal. Really good food 4/5 Ela’s greek We had our reception at Ela’s and the food was good. Would recommend the pork shank. Massive portion, wouldn’t recommend the chicken as the majority of our guests felt it was quite dry. The staff really looked after us and made our night very special. 4/5 Overall I would take offence if I was another 5-star resort looking at this one and having the same rating! 4 stars at best

I had a massage at the hotel spa with Maro and it was perfect! I recommended it to my friends too! I will definitely visit the place again the place was so beautiful and clean and the sound of the waves was very relaxing. all the spa staff were polite and helpful

Fantastic 7 night stay at Atlantica Beach Resort! Great facilities, lovely food, clean and well looked after. Easy reach to explore the island. The entertainment team, Jayden, Sipho and Shayla were all amazing at getting the kids (and adults) involved. They worked really hard and the kids loved getting involved with the daily activities. Great stay and would definitely recommend for a family holiday.
