Fili Hotel Apartments

Another fantastic stay at fili apartments. Great little family run apartments, nothing to much effort from mananagment to staff alike. Food and drink good value for money. Warmth and friendliness cannot be beaten. We will definitely be returning.

We have just come back from a lovely four night break in Kos. I cannot praise Fili apartments enough. Not only are the apartments super clean, the staff are just so friendly. My daughter needed to see a doctor whilst there and they were super helpful about it. There are two pools, which is great, as one is mostly for children and I’ve got adults. Situated in a beautiful quiet part of Tigaki- just perfect!

This is one of the best family run hotels I have had the pleasure of staying! We booked half board and wasn’t sorry the food is traditionally Greek with really well put together meals that was tasty and hot , the English cooked breakfast 2 fried eggs 2 bacon ,sausage beans 2 rounds of toast with orange juice and a coffee to wash it down. Kept us going til the evening. The Hotel itself is very clean as are the pool areas which is run by a wonderful family throughout the day and they can’t do enough for you. Just down the road rack outside is the bus stop that tak s you into Tigkaki Center where there’s restaurants, bars and clubs you can’t go wrong. The full price for Kos town is €2.30 one way which is a must!! There’s a beach at the bottom of the beach. Location wise could be better “off the beaten trek “ so be warned.all in all a great experience with now hassle I shall return! Thank you Fili for a very pleasant break.

Our second trip to Fili in two years. This time for two weeks as we enjoyed it so much last year. The place is immaculate! The cleaners do amazing work. The family take care of everyone and nothing is too much trouble. We pre booked the breakfasts and we were so glad we did. The choice and quality of the food is really good. I wanted to come back to Fili as I'm registered blind and I can get about using ramps. The only improvement I’d suggest is bannisters on the steps down to the pool. There is another pool without steps. We stayed in a ground floor apartment which makes it easier for me to get around independently. The rooms are basic but what do you expect? Plugs and WiFi is an issue but we just work around it. Its a beautiful space full of nature and colourful plants away from the madness. We’ll be back!

This is the second year we’ve stayed at FILI and we’ll be back. Such a welcoming relaxed family environment, it’s become a home from home. We came for a week last year with my disabled mum, but it’s so affordable we’ve come for two weeks this time with my niece and self cater some nights on the balcony (there’s a Lidl 5-10 minute drive away and a large supermarket in Tigaki) The lower pool and surrounding gardens is tranquil and quiet with the sound of birds and rippling water of the pool and the top pool and bar is lovely too with music playing. Quite far out of village and down it’s own private drive, which we like as we hire a car anyway and prefer the quiet, feels safe for children. Nice walk along the beach (30 mins?) to Tigaki and well lit at night. Ampeli vineyard is 5 minute walk, beautiful food and gardens and very reasonably priced. There’s also a bus at the end of the drive to go in to the village or Kos Town and you can hire a bike for 5€ a day. The rooms are basic (limited plug sockets so we bring an extension) but immaculately clean and all we need. My sister is blind so we asked for the same accessible room so she can get about by herself on the ramps and they are happy to provide mattress topper and extra blankets for her. Ice cold beer and wine is cheap, spirits are more expensive but very generous measures! Recommend the breakfast Love it here.

My wife and I stayed here for a week between 7th July and 14tj July 2023. We had deliberated over several self-catering facilities and went with Fili mainly because it was slightly less expensive than a few others, and because the room had its own hob and fridge. Our greeting upon arrival there was underwhelming as we were asked for vouchers (possibly a printout but we were not aware that we had needed to do this) but this was smoothed over by supplying our names. The owner's son then escorted us to our room but was very brusque, did not tell or show us how anything worked, switched on the fridge then just left, leaving the door open and with a half-hearted "Enjoy your holiday" which baffled us both. We then found out that the air conditioning was extra (we had not seen the asterisk and small print on the website which stated this) and paid the 5 Euros per day as the heat was profoundly humid and high even after sunset. The owner and his wife appeared to us quite financially-oriented and we're only really interested in the further dealings we had with them if we were paying extra for anything. The room otherwise was pleasant and large, generally clean, and the water pressure and temperatures for the showers are exceptional. The beds were comfortable and the grounds are pretty with three swimming pools, a bar, pool table, and a literal 5-minite walk to a nearby beach, and there are panoramic views of the sea and hills/mountains. There is a bus stop also literally 5 minutes away and the buses there will take you to Tigaki central in about 10 minutes or Kos City in around 30-40 minutes. The Taverna a few doors down called Ampeli is gorgeous and serve sensational food. We were somewhat disappointed with the sparsely stocked kitchenette but we were able to make salads etc. Whilst this may appear generally critical it must be stated that we generally enjoyed our stay here but that to rate it as good rather than average does not provide adequately critical reasoning and a balanced view unfortunately. If we ever did go back to Kos we believe we would stay with the nearby Byron Apartments instead of one of the hotels in Tigaki.

What a place! I went for a week with my sister and Mum and we’ve already decided we are going back. The family who own it can’t do enough for you. So friendly and happy to help. Everywhere is spotless. The cleaners do a fantastic job! Perfect location for us. We especially loved how beautifully kept the gardens were. Plants and trees everywhere. We had breakfast every morning which we all very much enjoyed. The prices for food are very reasonable. Perfect hosts, perfect holiday!

Excellent as usual.Absolutely loved our visit in October 23,great to see all the family again.Trying to work out the number of times visited,its around 50 since 1988 and every one has been a pleasure . If you’re looking for something reasonably priced but also very friendly and clean, close to the beach and quieter than the huge busy hotels, this is the one for you!! The staff and owners are really friendly and generous with the food. We had breakfast and dinner included and the food was absolutely delicious, especially the Greek dish STIFFADO! There is a quiet local beach down the road or you can catch a bus to a beach with sun beds and water sports only ten minutes away on the bus. Kos town is also lovely and filled with lovely lanes and shops, bars and restaurants. We came ,end of season, so sadly not many places to dance but there are if you come mid season though. I wanted a quieter holiday so end of season was perfect for me! There are lovely views of mountains from the hotel grounds and also on the beach. I would highly recommend this holiday if you’re looking for reasonably priced, clean, friendly and intimate.
