Mitsis Selection Blue Domes

An amazing location, within a beautiful setting. The facilities are plentiful, and the food offerings are spectacular. The bars offer unlimited drinks throughout the day, and Blue Domes has freshwater pools running throughout its core structure. The good offerings were expansive, and catered for all dietary needs. The only downside which I found was that the rooms were not sound insulated, and therefore as I was at the end of housing section the noice from the service road was slightly irritating. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend the location to family and friends.

This place is a little piece of heaven. A lot of attention to detail went into the design of the place and the facilities, food and people were amazing. We went for an all inclusive stay and it did everything we had expected and more. The variety of restaurants and food places open during the day was great. Especially grateful to: - the lady at the concierge desk who organised it so that me and my husband could use the open gym to workout in the morning. - Elizabeth the lady with the warmest welcome possible. Always happy to see you and said such kind words. It's people like this who make the stay amazing so I hope if you visit you get to meet them. - the lady at the vegan/ juice bar who would always give our daughter a fresh cup of strawberrys when she saw her - all the cleaning, bar, restaurant staff who went out of there way to make sure you have everything you need. We even had some freshly baked bread delivered to our room to celebrate Easter. I'm not sure if this is coincidence but the only thing they didn't have for breakfast was porridge - so I would ask the bar for some hot milk - then like magic the next day (and every day after there was porridge ready made and available) - the kids area is great and a special shout out to the ladies who work so hard to do so many fun and educational activities for the children. Our daughter was 18 months so we had to stay with her but we could still get involved in all of the fun and there were plenty of toys. I could go on but I hope I've made the point that they really do sweat the small stuff here and it didn't go unnoticed! A few heads up that might be good to know in advance: - a la carte restaurants need to be booked in advance - easiest way to do this is via the app - lunch is at 12.30 and dinner at 6:30pm - so if you have to factor in naps don't do what we did and show up in between :) - the hotel is around 35 mins from Kos town We hope you visit and have a lovely experience just like we did! Firstly, the overall experience and stay at Mitsis Blue Domes was incredible. It’s one of the most stunning resorts we have ever been too, always clean, and plenty of space around the resort to explore, relax and swim! Check in was okay, however, could have been better. The staff member didn’t really explain the hotel, or give us a map. He just passed us the keys and nothing else. Breakfast was varied with plenty of choice. Always something to eat and hot food. Service could be a bit quicker in the buffet restaurant however overall enjoyable experience. The breakfast buffet would defiantly benefit from another toaster also. The pool areas and resort grounds are incredible. You feel as if you’re living in a Greek dream. Plenty of sun beds and no issues with getting a bed, however, we went at the start of October. This could be different for other times if the year. More staff needed for front reception. Often had to queue to ask a question or for help. Desk is big enough for more people so not sure why there wasn’t more people to service it especially when it was busy. Booking a taxi was very long winded. We had to book through the concierge and then go back to reception to pay? And when there are queues this can be very frustrating when all we wanted was a cab. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for our cab to turn up. The beach was great with lovely blue seas. The food overall throughout the different places to eat in the hotel was amazing. We really enjoyed the choices we had each day to go and eat! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this resort.

Brunch a la carte is the best restaurant jn the entire resort!! The friendliest most welcoming staff, amazing delicious food and breathtaking views, and we had the best customer service from Stamatia she treat us like stars. Highly recommended

We have had the most perfect stay here, we can not fault it at all. Perfect brunch with fantastic staff. We were lucky enough to eat here twice, and each time it was superb. Stamatia is wonderful, as are all of the staff here. We will definitely return!

We were served at brunch by Stamatia, the service throughout was brilliant. Food absolutely gorgeous and we felt welcome on our first day. Service was very quick and they made sure we had everything we needed. Able to order extras and any drinks

Picturesque location right on the beach with nice pools and bars. Enjoyed the restaurants more than the dinner buffet (bit bland for my liking) so I recommend booking them. Delicious gyros on the beach. Overall the staff were nice apart from a rude one at the beach bar. The beach path/boardwalk could be improved and safer as it was uneven and I witnessed several people fall over on it - one woman got a cut on her knee from falling.

Stamantia was our host and she made our stay at the brunch á la carte very special. We ordered several dishes and were able to try them. You can leave out things from the menu, like pork, but you can't add things. This is a bit inflexible for an a la carte restaurant. Otherwise all good.
