Beautiful hotel facing the lagoon. Check in was not a smooth process due to a room mix up. The service from the staff was outstanding. The room I checked into was very nice, spacious, clean with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The food was delicious. The hotel is a bit far from the city center/waterfront.
Overall experience was outstanding.
I look forward to visiting this place again in summer.

Out of the entire garden route, leisure island stole our heart and it is still on our mind The decision to choose leisure isle and amanzi made the place look much more beautiful with great moments. Staffs are hospitable. Fortune, mariet and team was absolutely wonderful and caring people. Food was good and very well priced. Rooms are top notch. A walk in the island made us even longing to go their repeat. Looking forward to see you guys soon.

Really nice stay. Boutique hotel in a great location with incredible views. Rooms were nice and the food was good. Seems like the best hotel option if you’re staying Knysna.

We stayed here on our garden route trip for 4 nights. The location of our room was the Mirkwood suite with our own balcony and sun beds. The breakfasts were lovely with a full range of foods on offer to suit all tastes and appetites. We used the hotel restaurant for our evening meals which were well priced and very good. All the staff were lovely, very helpful and caring.

A very big thank you to this most charming hotel on the banks of the Lagune. Wonderful and charming staff who couldn't do enough to please us and a big thank you for the room upgrade. Breakfast and the evening meal in the restaurant were perfect. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, Solly

We were given a very warm welcome by the staff and their service was evident throughout our stay at this well located hotel. The hotel is very clean and well maintained and the dining was excellent. All in all, a most enjoyable stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Do hope to return one day soon.

5/5 Loved this place. The food was gorgeous, the room was clean, the bed was so comfy and the shower facilities all good. The staff were so helpful and Fortune even came out with me on a kayak as hubby not keen. Thank you Fortune! There is a very plush on site cheap taxi to take you where you want to go which was an unexpected bonus. There are quite a few steps which was my only small issue but that was because I had injured my foot at the previous accommodation, so tricky to negotiate. There are bikes that are free to use and also as mentioned, the kayaks. The local area is pretty. I’d go back in an instant. Thank you.

This was our first time at Amanzi and our first visit to Leisure Island. We loved it all, the accommodation and the food. We stayed in WHALE suite. The room was spotless and quite modern. The bed was extra comfortable and the bathroom good if a little small. The view from the room across the estuary was a joy. I enjoyed breakfast and a couple of meals we had there at night. The staff were excellent. I highly recommend Amanzi and we will stay there again

The hotel was very nice, staff amazing, ohhh the food was the best, thank you Chef my Chef. Maybe consider the paint renewal outside but otherwise the place is stunning 🤩. Ohh and the all white nice touch ❤️❤️
