A bad experience and great disappointment in trust! We made a reservation for two nights early December and paid in full in advance. Unfortunately we had to cancel due to unforeseen personal circumstances. We just had to make the decision to not come back to South Africa again, so we couldn’t keep the payment as a rain check. When I phoned to explain, the ever so nice Ms. Cornell Cross remembered the name from our stay years ago, she was understanding and sorry for us and assured me to be -of course- fully refunded. ‘Just send me an email’, she said, with the (banking)details ‘and I’ll make sure it will be taken care of’. After two weeks I reminded her of the case by phone (‘Administration must have forgotten’) and then by email, several times, but so far I have never had my refund or saw any POP (which I specifically asked for). No reply either. I’m so sorry to have lost my trust in this lady and the place.
