Nice location and facilities at the beachside Kiwenguwa.
My time and budget paid off its worth.
All staffs and the manager are friendly and give us feelings welcomed.

Staying at Zan view was so amazing and wonderful...the staff was extremely helpful and nice. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a little trouble with the shower ..it was leaking. The very long and steep stairs to the beach could be fixed with rails...a t least on one site. Swimmingpool is fantastic..we had a lot of fun in it. The food had good ingredients but lack a bit of spices ...specialy being here on the spice island. We all loved our stay. Thank you.

We didn’t stay at Zan View however, we went to the beach bar and restaurant almost every night during our stay in Kiwengwa (we stayed in an AirBnB locally). The food and drinks here are exceptional, as is the young man who was running the place each time we went. Due to the hotel only having 12 rooms, everything is made fresh to order, and the quality is top notch!

This hotel had nice accommodations for the price. The beds were comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. I really enjoyed the pool. We came during Christmas and they had a nice holiday feast with music and entertainment. The only downside is the location. You have to go up and down a lot of steep steps with no railing to access the beach. It can be difficult, especially at night. I would give the hotel 4 stars because of the stairs to the beach but I give it 5 stars due to the service! The staff was amazing. Happy was the best person I met in Zanzibar and that’s saying a lot because everyone was so nice and friendly. Happy made sure my friends and I were well taken care of. She went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. I would stay at this hotel again just to hang out with her.

We had a 5 day stay here and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms was huge and the staff so friendly. I'm gluten intolerant and every morning they made me maize pancakes which were delicious. The little touch was great and much appreciated... btw the scrambled eggs some of the best I have had. Its short walk to the beach and a great restaurant called Yoga Bar... Value for money and a personal touch..

The food and service were excellent. Big beautiful rooms, nice bathroom and very nice staff. Clean room and surroundings. We had a perfect stay for our family of 5. You need to walk 3 min through an authentic African village before you are on the beautiful beach

We absolutely loved our stay at Zan View. We were a family of 6 and took advantage of the honeymoon suite and one double room for a total of 11 nights. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms. All of the staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was ever too much trouble. They also helped us to learn some Swahili. We are not usually ones to eat at our hotel everyday, as we like to venture out and try different restaurants, however the menu at Zan View was so varied and tasty, we had our meal here daily. The food is of exceptionally high quality and everything is cooked fresh to order. There is also the occasional themed night on the menu, too! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, with lots of space. Water was provided to us in our rooms daily and there was a mini fridge, which was great. The views overlooking the sea were breathtaking. To get to the beach you have to walk through a little fishing village. The people there are lovely and very welcoming, with a friendly "Jambo" when we pass by. If you want a small hotel, with friendly staff,breathtaking views and an unspoilt beach, Zan View is the place.to stay!

Had a very nice three night stay at Zan View. The manager and staff were really friendly and they went out of their way to make sure I had a takeaway breakfast before my early flight home, for example, which they didn't have to do.
