"We chose to stay here for one night as a transit, which helped given our flight was delayed and we were travelling with a toddler. We waited for 30 mins for the free shuttle as we didn’t know we were waiting in the wrong area. They didn’t have a driver waiting with a sign and they didn’t communicate with help desk (we contacted help desk to call the hotel to let them know we arrived) about clear instructions where to meet. Waiting with a toddler wasn’t fun, so would appreciate if you had a driver waiting or check on flight status, despite delay - as I provided them the details or wrote in the email to wait straight ahead, not where the taxis were waiting.
Hotel was a few minutes drive from airport. Room was spacious, shower was ok, bed was ok (sheets need bleach as there were old - not fresh dirty marks on it), they didn’t provide free water or filtered water, so we had to buy water. Breakfast was a fair spread. The playground looked great for kids/ toddler but it was raining so we couldn’t use it. Simple things (free water, better communication with shuttle, cleaner sheets) could have improved the experience and that’s why I’m providing this rating,"
"Had a great stay here. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast menu had a great variety with delicious options each morning. Overall, a very pleasant experience and would happily stay again. Great view from the rooftop with infinity pool."
"I recently visited Smugglers Hotel and had a mixed experience that I believe management should take seriously for the safety and comfort of their guests.
One of my main concerns is the lack of clear separation between smoking and non-smoking areas. While I was seated in the dining area having lunch, cigarette smoke drifted into the space, which triggered an asthma attack. This was a distressing and avoidable situation. I strongly recommend that the hotel either designates a smoking area at least 10 meters away from dining and common areas or ensures that smoking sections are completely separate and well-ventilated to prevent exposure to non-smoking guests.
Additionally, it would be beneficial for staff to have basic first aid training, including CPR. In situations like mine, having trained personnel on-site could make a significant difference in responding quickly and effectively to health emergencies.
I hope management takes these suggestions seriously and implements improvements to create a safer and more comfortable environment for all guests."
"My flight reached late at night. I checked in after 10pm. No one was there to guide or help with the luggage. Had difficulties looking for my room. Was told by an employee that my room was upstairs so had to go up the stairs with my 20kg back, 7 kg carry on and my handbag, only to be told by a guest that it was downstairs. I was frustrated and exhausted from my long flight from Australia. The guest took me downstairs to my room. Thank God for his help. The hotel was nice, except for their services, other things were good."
"the hotel is good but the service of one fijian(itaukei) girl is not very nice, i was asking her a question for the fees but she make a very angry face as i am not to disturb he, customer service is more important and she needs to show a happy face to all who comes there to stay. the others are very nice"
"My wife, who is Fijian, and I, a Papua New Guinean, recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Nadi, Fiji, with our three young children. After ten years, it was a special trip for her to return home with our family, and the hotel made it all the more memorable."
"The one bedroom had all I needed and more. Comfortable big bed, huge shower. A full kitchen with all the essentials so I could cook my own meals. It is big and open plan apartment. A big TV in the lounge and bedroom. Everything was super clean and shiny. The washing machine was an essential and greatly appreciated. All the staff were just lovely, friendly and helpful. There is a security guard on site after hours. So you always felt safe. Secure parking on the premise behind lock gate….so my car was always secure.
I really enjoyed my stay. It was quiet and secure. Great swimming pool. Shops walking distance."
"Nice hotel for a short stay, perfect for a layover as it's close to the airport.
The room is decent with mini fridge, hot showers, bath amenities. The room has AC and extra blanket. Wifi is working OK.
You still need to double check if the hotel have received your payment to avoid double charging."
