Silver Palm Spa & Resort

Silver Palm was our chosen venue for our wedding in April 2024. Long story short - we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Every member of the Silver Palm team we worked with were so involved in ensuring our wedding, our stay and our guests' stay was as enjoyable as possible. The front office team (Hamida, Paul, Peter, Amisi, Lily, Salome, to name a few) was always extremely helpful. The Restaurant and beverage team (John, Benson and several others) were also very pleasant. We asked them to make some Nigerian snacks (puff puff, meat pie and gizdodo) and they worked with us to perfect the recipes and the snacks were DELICIOUS on the wedding day. The resort even gifted us with traditional Kenya dancers riding the wedding welcome party. The resort itself is really beautiful. Very spacious, clean and well maintained. The food was tasty and it felt like it kept getting better with each day. We noticed that they played Nigerian music/Afrobeats sitting meal times which was a nice touch as most of our guests were Nigerian. The custodians did a great job cleaning the rooms. Fred cleaned the rooms in our block and did a great job each time. Overall, we had a great time at Silver Palm and we know it definitely won't be our last trip to the resort.

The service was very good. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. We went for a wedding at the resort and stayed for 5 nights. The facilities are well maintained, the grounds beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable and cleaned everyday with turn down service at nights too. The only minus were the flies that hung around everywhere because of the location. I hope the resort management can look into this.

The entertainment team was amazing. Machapo, Didah and Diana did a great job at entertaining us all day and night with activities throughout the day. The staff are very kind, the food is very fresh and the rooms are top notch. I had a great experience overall.

Having recently attended a workshop organized by the World Bank at this establishment, I can attest to the remarkable quality of its facilities. The reception was not only efficient but also welcoming, setting a positive tone for the event. Staff members were attentive and accommodating, ensuring that participants felt valued and comfortable from the outset. The presentation of the rooms was outstanding, combining functionality with aesthetics seamlessly. Each room exuded a sense of sophistication, with modern furnishings and tasteful decor creating an inviting a**osphere conducive to productivity and relaxation alike. It was evident that careful attention had been paid to every detail, from the arrangement of furniture to the selection of artwork, resulting in a visually pleasing environment that enhanced the overall experience. Furthermore, the food provided during the workshop was of exceptional quality, reflecting a commi**ent to culinary excellence. From deliciously prepared meals to refreshing snacks and beverages, participants were treated to a diverse array of options that catered to various tastes and dietary preferences. The areas designated for interactions and networking were thoughtfully designed, offering comfortable seating arrangements and conducive environments for meaningful discussions and collaborations. Whether during scheduled breaks or informal gatherings, participants had ample opportunities to connect and exchange ideas in a relaxed setting.

I booked this property to celebrate two birthdays, mine and my daughter’s. We were three adults booked into 2 rooms. On arrival, Peter who checked us in was accommodating in our request to change one of the rooms so we could be closer to one another, however we had to ask him about meal timings, as well as location of restaurants. We saw other guests being offered towels and a welcome drink. This was not the case for us. One of our rooms, a swim up suite was smelling of mould. We expressed this concern and were told it was because the AC was not on. The safe in the room malfunctioned and it took two days for someone to have it opened. We ordered a snack from the bar for lunch… while at the pool…two hours later it still was not delivered. I had to go follow up only to find out that my order had been forgotten. Needless to say, I canceled it. On my birthday, my sister tried to order a cake for me but was told it would be offered on the next day, which was my daughter’s birthday. She actually wanted to buy but was told it was not possible. There was no sign of any kind of management on-site and it was only after voicing our complaints that things started to change. We were offered two cakes on my daughter’s birthday and a complimentary bottle of wine as service recovery, but by then it was too little too late. Do things right the first time so it won’t cost you more to fix things when they go wrong. It’s a beautiful property but poorly managed with staff who urgently need intensive training on customer service delivery and consistency.

I loved the experience here. The view is simply breathtaking, the resort is located in a rather serene and very well accessible place. It has a direct access to the beach and a very beautiful extensive view of the same. The service is also exemplary. The staff is very friendly too.

Arrive at the hotel to be told they did not have my reservation despite said reservation being confirmed and paid in advance. Receptionist is completely unapologetic, does not offer my children anything to drink during the hour we spend in the reception trying to solve the situation.

This was our second visit and still as magical as the first. We were fortunate to stay in the Swim Up Suite courtesy of an upgrade by management. Thank you for this gesture! The highlight was the New Year's Eve Dinner. Great set up under the stars, elegant decor, loads of entertainment & to crown it all, fireworks by the beach as we turned the page to usher in 2024. We had an absolute blast! Special thanks to the GM Silver Palm.
