W15 Hanthana Estate Kandy

這個酒店管理問題很多：（1）歧視中國客人，我們八月就付款了全款預訂元旦房間，不允許退款，不支持改簽；但是臨入住前兩天突然告訴我們沒房了，把我們安排到半小時以外的King Pavilion ；（2）毫無時間觀念，要求十一點半吃飯，早上點菜，十二點才能吃上； 酒店環境非常好，酒水免費，三餐全包，就是服務太差。

I spent my 1st wedding Anniversary at this beautiful property. Their service, food and hospitality was great. It was indeed a very memorable stay. The jeep ride was a new experience for us. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to all the staff of W15 Hanthana Estate.

EVERYTHING!!! We felt like we were in heaven after a long drive from the airport. Staff welcomed us with a welcome drink and snack. Check in was a breeze! They had our beautiful room ready. The room itself was absolutely beautiful. The bed slept so nice and cushions were just right! The shower was amazing and there is no need to pack shampoo/ conditioner, everything was available and great quality products as well. We had the full board options and we enjoyed an ice cold white wine (reasonably priced) on the most beautiful terrace overlooking amazing views of the mountain range and the tea plantations. In the far distance you can also see a temple. I did not spend too much time at the pool, however if you have the time, this is a wonderful place to relax and rewind. The pool overlooks a magnificent garden. The food was OUTSTANDING! And the staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our stay SO special. The manager Sidath and his staff is next level! With a wealth of knowledge of the hospitality industry he had the Midis touch. Even arranged a very special dinner on the deck area on our final night. Chamila was a wonderful waiter and he made us feel so welcomed. He was attentive to our every need. He also has great wine knowledge. Nothing was too much for this team! We had a lovely drive through the plantation with the excursion team and what a great experience this was! There is much to do in the area and Sidath is very helpful with advice on where to go and what to do. Three days were not enough! We were sad to leave as this was truthfully a wonderful stay! We will 100% be back!

I wish I could rate W15 and the team above 5 stars, they TRULY deserve it. I had the pleasure of staying at W15 over 4 nights at the end of May and it truly was one of the BEST hotels I have stayed at. From before I even touched down to my departure, NOTHING was too much for the team. Sidath the Manager of the estate welcomed me with the warmest of smiles on my first day (even in the torrential rain) and spent everyday keeping me smiling. The service was profound (with a complementary upgrade to a Bungalow Room for 1/2 of my stay) to catering to my every want and desire without blinking. The food absolutely spectacular, which for my first trip to Sri Lanka I was hesitant about (because I didnt want to get ill). I opted for Traditional Sri Lankan food 90% of the time and when I didnt (the team always knew to bring me sambal to spice things up). Having lived in Europe I can hand on heart say the quality matched it, and the service truly exceeded it. My warmest thanks to Sheriff and Upal especially for waiting on me hand and foot and making me feel extra special as lone traveller whose holiday was interrupted by work! The cocktails that they both made me were out of this world and made with such love and care (try the Upal Arrak one & Sheriff Vodka one). The Estate itself is breathtaking (even in the rain), with sumptuous linens, peaceful alcoves, a sprawling dining/living area, gorgeous rooms and the most wonderfully fresh air. I upgraded from Full Board to All Inclusive which gave me access to all excursions and what a time I had with Bhanuka the in house naturalist. The hikes, the walk, the tours...just what my soul needed. His knowledge of flora and fauna was extensive and his zest for life made the whole experience wonderful. I would also like to thank the chef (the food was out of this world), Hastha for always making me laugh and the entire housekeeping staff for all that they do. I will definitely be back and look forward to enjoying the estate in the sun! 100% BEST hotel in Kandy!

W15 Hanthana Estate is a special place. It’s proximity to the city of Kandy and gorgeous tea estate setting make it the best of both worlds. A stunning valley view greets you on the veranda where meals are served by caring and attentive staff. The common interior spaces are welcoming and modern. My room, one of only 8 in the main building, was lovely. Very spacious, beautifully decorated, with thoughtful and sustainable amenities, it was one of my favorite stops on the trip—I slept so well and felt so at home. The food was delicious, although some of the western dishes were a bit more spicy for me, and I adored the Sri Lanka dishes especially. The pool, nature walks, spa treatments, afternoon tea, and excursions are all delightful. Stay an extra day just to enjoy some of the options, you won’t regret it.

Stunning views of the mountains in a peaceful lush setting. Very comfortable rooms and a special mention to our butler Sheriff who was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. In fact, all of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was great, wish we had more time to explore the other activities.

Lovely hotel with amazing staff who sees after every need. Beautiful vistas and quarters and delicious fresh food. Was a godsend after many hours of travel. Can’t say enough good things. Especially enjoyed the grounds and visiting the fresh herb garden and sitting soaking up the view.

I have been to Kandy once before, and toured several hotels. W 15 is absolutely the best of the best. The property is exquisitely beautiful, and it is one of the best breakfasts I've had in Sri Lanka. However, what stands out is the wonderful staff. Especially staff member Hastha. He really made our experience. we literally spent an afternoon just laughing with him. We got the best of Sri Lankan hospitality which was pretty spectacular. Also, they offer a 4x4 experience into the mountains with an herbalist, Banuka, who was also really really great. Cannot wait to come back.

We had the most incredibly few days at the W15 Hanthana Estate Kandy. Such a beautiful and peaceful location hidden in the hills, comfortable rooms and beautiful property, very tastefully designed. We had all inclusive and didn’t regret a bit. The food and drinks were excellent, together with the service. Our butler Hastha, such as Sheriff, Manjula and Tharaka were so attentive and professional making sure we had everything. The level of attention to the guest is exceptional. Everything was perfect and we wish to go back some day!
