Excellent hotel staff and service . The food provided is very good especially the Italian restaurant. The swimming pool is superior with beautiful scenery. Give us an unforgettable memory in Rhodes.

We absolutely loved this hotel. In particular the staff (who were always so attentive and friendly), the scale and beauty of the hotel itself (nothing in Faliraki remotely compares), and the incredible food (we never really wanted to leave the main buffet). We were so sad to leave, and will be visiting a Grecotel again in the future - we can’t wait

On our last day at dama dama and it’s been great. I was a little worried as before we arrived their were a lot of Bad reviews about the food etc but luckily wasn’t true. Rooms We went with two toddlers, very easy with kids, if you book a family room though I would request a bath On booking, we didn’t and they Didn’t have any rooms left with baths but we had a baby bath which was pretty big and they went in that: you get a big double bed and also travel Cots are also bigger than uk sizes which is good. The mini bar is topped up which is good it has water coke and Fanta. Food The main buffet has lots of choice, there is always pizza , plain pasta with tomato sauces or cheese, salads and fruit and then the other options change daily. Breakfast there is loads of choice pastries, yoghurt,cereal, bread,cooked food etc If you need to warm baby pouches up there is a microwave which is self serve in the restaurant as we did this. Beach bar- is easier to eat at lunchtime but is the same sort of food each day with a few things that vary. They always have pizza chips pasta salads and gyros. They have a crepe and ice cream station every day. Location Next to the hotel is souvenirs shops where you can buy floats and bucket and spades, a pharmacy if ever need anything and also a little shop at the end with crisps chocolate etc Close to airport and also if book with hotel I asked for a car seat they were very good service. Activities We joined in with the mini disco, it was quite late for ours 8.45 but we managed to go then put them To bed, it only lasts 30 minutes which is enough time. Indoor pool is adults only Massages are only on the beach, we did book one but the staff member was ill so missed out on this. Children’s pool nice and shallow, not many seats , this is the downfall here is people place towels on the seats early then go to breakfast etc.

The food in the restaurant should be better described, e.g. in German !!! Otherwise, everything was perfect !! At the recepion,all peoplewere very nice and helpful ,but especially Mrs.Elisa !!!!! We will recommend the hotel to our acquaintances and friends ! We'll be back !

I am currently staying at this hotel and I was slightly worried beforehand with some of the recent negative reviews before we arrived. I have to say to put anybody’s else’s mind at rest who has this hotel booked to ignore the negative reviews. This hotel is fantastic, the staff are really friendly and the facilities are great. The room we have is lovely, staff visit regularly to top up mini bar etc. Food and drinks are brilliant, A La Carte’s are really great. If staying I would recommend booking A La Carte’s through the app to avoid disappointment. Max queue at beach bar 10 mins which is fine. Hard to find any negatives if I’m honest and after the recent reviews I was expecting to only be writing about them, 10/10 would recommend.

Lovely spotless hotel with amazing friendly efficient staff. Good food selection always found something. Grounds best and cleanest I’ve seen. Great relaxed atmosphere Hiccup with balcony door phoned reception the super efficient Eliza had us moved within a half hour . Customer service at its best. All in all 10/10 for this hotel

The photos of the hotel create an ultra luxurious image but in reality it’s an older hotel that’s had a facelift externally and in some internal areas. The food is decent but not as good as other similar 4* all inclusive hotels in the same area. Variety at buffet is ok, but a la carte options are disappointing (Greek is the best) and there is very little in the way of snacks / small plates between the set meal times. A big frustration is the wait times at the bars, always a huge queue at the beach bar for a drink (need more staff) and the lobby bar operates a weird table service system which takes forever to get a drink. Consistency of drinks is weird as well, every cocktail / mixer is different and served in a different cup, drinking out of a paper cup regularly as they simply don’t have enough plastic glassware was a good example. Sunbed wars are real here, and whilst the hotel say they will enforce people who reserve them early they don’t. So basically there isn’t a bed to be had after 8am and certainly no where near enough for all guests of the hotel. Location is really nice and water sports are fun to do from the kiosk directly outside on the hotel beach. Staff on the whole are friendly and attentive but feels like they are let down by some of the weird operational policies of the hotel which create delays in general. They have soft drink fountains but don’t allow guests to use them outside of buffet meal times, same for the beer tap. Surely would make sense to allow this and therefore cut down on wait times at bars etc

We are just home after a weeks stay at the Dama Dama. It’s a beautiful 4 star hotel and we had a great 4 star experience. I think some of the mixed reviews come down to the 5 star look of the hotel/price tag but we got quite a good deal via Secret Escapes and found it to be excellent value for money overall. The superior rooms are nice, nothing fancy but spacious and side sea view. Beds are very comfortable; although two singles put together we requested it be made into a double and they did so the next day. The rest of our family were in a family room; it was double the size, like a large suite. I think we would have paid the extra for this room in hindsight. The food was pretty good, breakfast had a variety of hot options, pancakes, fresh fruit and continental options. I was surprised you couldn’t have a freshly made omelette, I thought that was pretty standard in 4/5 star hotels. Lunch by the beach was the best, each day chicken being cooked on the rotisserie which was delicious, fresh pizzas, pasta, huge salads etc. The children were also very happy with the snacks later in the afternoon and we made quite a few trips back for chicken nuggets/pizza and the crepes/carte D’or ice cream. I think the crepes and ice cream were a real selling point for me, with two children we would have spent so much money on ice-cream and snacks late afternoon. The quality was so good, the adults often got involved too! We were lucky enough to eat in all the a la carte restaurants. The Italian was fantastic. The quality of the food was amazing, complimented with really decent prosecco (Soffio prosecco rosé) served by the bottle. The Rose restaurant was a fine dining set menu, also fantastic. I’d say the Asiana and Tavernaki probably not as good, but still very nice and enjoyable. There are over 150 wines to choose from at the hotel which was another selling point for us, we really looked forward to selecting our wine in the evening and the staff were very knowledgeable, helping us pick which was best to go with our meal. The resort itself is stunning, huge grounds, lovely pools and a couple of water slides which kept the little ones entertained. Right on top of the beach (we should have brought the beach shoes - kids didn’t enjoy so much because of how pebbly it was). The beach bar was fab, we sunk plenty of Aperol Spritz whilst there and very well made! My daughter loved the strawberry slushes too. A few minor pointers: - More staff needed, they all work so hard but it’s hard for them to control the volume of guests wanting tables, drinks etc. - some physical menus at the bars would be helpful, so you can see what is available as it’s different in each bar, restaurant. - Food temperature - had a few things that were lukewarm over my weeks stay - A better restaurant booking system, it caused me some angst in the lead up to my holiday The only negative, is the real lack of entertainment. We spend 1 week in the hotel, recommend to everyone who wants to spend relaxing time. Great location, territory, clean warm sea, tasty food and excellent service. 2 big swimming pool, but we spent time at the beach - comfortable sun beds, clean warm sea and nice beach bar.
