My stay was exceptional! The staff were friendly and the room was quite comfortable,it was very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend the hotel. The location is quite good too with restaurants and shops nearby for you to shop until you drop!

Room was clean and neat. Unfortunately, the hotel charged me an entire night stay for checking out 3 hours late. This is after I checked in at approximately 7pm the night before (5 hours after allowed check-in). Such fantastic hospitality shown.

From arrival my best friend and I were greeted with the friendliest welcoming staff. Greeted by sweet Lethi at reception we were quickly settled into our beautiful room. Overall, our stay was made extra special from helpful forme like Elliot, all the way to Hendrick providing the best coffee at breakfast time. Thank you Southern Sun Rosebank.

The Place is amazing, the food 5 star and the reception out of this world lovely room. Recommended a to anyone coming to Rosebank side. I give props to the receptionist Ms Ntobeko and Mr Ndumiso for their most friendliest face and assistance. Keep it up.

We had an amazing stay following a very long hospital admission with our son. It was the perfect place to feel normal again and rest and recover. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was nice and cool, and we had an awesome view. The buffet breakfast was also delicious each morning. We even recieved a complimentary snack platter one morning. What an awesome surprise.

The hotel is in such a prime location. Upon entering the building the hotel smells fresh and clean. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The bathrooms are slightly small, but have everything you need. The breakfast is on a whole new level. Excellent breakfast!

I stayed at the Southern Sun Rosebank for a conference which was also held at the hotel. Thabiso, the night manager was amazing, he helped me and my colleague check in when ******* made a mistake with our reservation and helped me change rooms. The hotel was a comfortable place for a conference with no disruption due to power cuts and well appointed conference rooms. My hotel room was very nice, spacious and clean. The food in the hotel was fine, nothing special (the butter chicken was insanely spicy), definitely recommend going to the amazing restaurants nearby instead. Definitely ask to be in the renovated tower, the unrenovated tower has rooms that are significantly worse.

It’s not the most elegant hotel I have ever stayed at. However, the location, the staff, the food, the gym, and the swimming pool area make it a very nice hotel. We came here to be with a Gate 1 tour. One of the first things we noticed on our first day here was how cordial the staff was. They really seem to like their job and the people they serve. My only criticism of the staff is the fact that there was apparently no communication between the reception and the maid. The maid came to clean up our room and then said that she was not going to clean it because we were checking out. We informed her that we were actually here for three nights, not one night. The room is fairly nice. It has a comfortable king-sized bed and other furnishings that are typical of hotels. The bathroom is tiny, but manageable. My only criticism of the room is that the outlets I wanted to use for plugging in my phone with a two-prong European plug did not seem to work. They were nice to me at the front desk and let me borrow theirs until I could go and buy a three-prong one. Breakfast was very good. They had a buffet breakfast, but they also brought you a menu sheet where you could order an omelette and other things. We considered that there was good variety to the menu. There is a lovely pool with a good sized pool deck. The chairs had comfortable pillows and umbrellas for shade. The gym is well equipped with free weights and typical gym equipment. The location is excellent. A five minute walk leads you to a very large shopping mall. It is very modern and has many of the stores that we have come to know at home. You can probably buy just about anything at this mall. We ate lunch at the Woolworths Café yesterday and bought some food for lunch at the grocery store today. We have had a happy experience here
