Hotel staff are lovely and the hotel is well situated in the interesting Karakoy district - an easy walk to the historic sites in Sultanahmet. Rooms are on the small size. Beds are super comfy. Great views from your rooms if you’re lucky, but if not from the rooftop bar.

Начну с того, что сейчас этот отель называется DNZ TAXIM FERİDİYE HoTEL. Бронировала я пребывание на три ночи через букинг в номере делюкс. При заезде нам был выдан другой номер, не соответсвующий описанию и фото при бронировании. Вернулись к администратору с попыткой объяснить, что номер явно другой. Он долго искал наше бронирование, нашел, в итоге дал другой номер. Он был больше и по размеру походил на тот, что был на фото, но при этом не соответстовал внешне. При этом нам было сказано, что других номеров нет. В итоге, пришлось остаться в этом номере. Потом мы начали осматривать его более детально и оказались в легком шоке. Дело было то, в каком состоянии был сам номер: дверные наличники были отломаны, стены все покоцанные до основания, незакрепленная мойка, перетертый шланг для душа, кран, который держался на честном слове. Кран и вентилятор просто торчали из стены, над дверным проемом в ванной все было замазано цементом без какой-то отделки (все есть на фото). Полотенца грязные, с остатками губной помады, а также дырками. Постельное белье тоже было под вопросом. В стоимость проживания входил завтрак, который опять же оказался не таким, как на фото на букинге. Фото завтрака тоже прикреплено к отзыву. Основное там - это полбатона. На стойке регистрации работают арабы, которые по-английский знают пару слов, то есть изъясняться с ними крайне сложно. Ну, и напоследок вишенка на торте. Решили, что не выдержим тут три ночи и уедем после двух ночей. В итоге, администраторы отменили нашу бронь, когда мы выехали, и отправили на букинг информацию о том, что мы якобы не заехали. В общем, они просто обманывают людей! Я никому не рекомендую этот отель!

พนักงานต้อนรับยอดเยี่ยมโดยเฉพาะ Tunc ส่วนเรื่องแม่บ้าน ฉันเชื่อว่าพวกเขาไม่เป็นมืออาชีพอย่างที่ควรเป็นเพราะกาต้มน้ําของเราเต็มไปด้วยเนสคาเฟ่เมื่อเราเช็คอิน โชคดีที่ Tunc ใจดีและทําให้แน่ใจว่าเราได้อันที่สะอาด :)

I am quite fortunate to come across this wonderful boutique hotel in Istanbul. I’ve been staying in Findikli everytime I visit but this by far is the best one for me. Arriving at the hotel is a refreshing experience itself, where trees, a peaceful local community vibe and a pleasant hotel lobby welcoming you as you start on your Loop Bosphorous experience. A quaint and elegant lobby with a wonderful staff will be welcoming you as you enter this property. Check in and check out was fairly easy and swift. Luggage assistance was provided by the staff and directed me to my room (or i should say Home) right away. Elevator is present which is very convenient for all. The room I got was with the beautiful bosphorous view. I wanted to book the Suite, however, it was not available during that time, but I was already pleased with the room I got anyway. The white, grey, and gold interior matches with a striking natural light coming from the windows are just perfect for a calming proper rest for those seeking a mini vacation from a busy lifestyle. The room has an ensuite shower room with the same elegant aesthetic as the room. Ive observed that the linens, beddings, furniture and fixtures found in the room were of premium quality. Shower, toilet and comfort amenities provided are of the same good quality. The room is equipped with a standard fully stocked mini fridge, hair dryer, and a decent air conditioner. As for the space, I find it just right with an adequate provision to store your suitcase. Breakfast was part of my booking but I just couldn’t wake up on time to experience it. Ot is offered at the restaurant located at the same floor of the lobby which is beside a lovely pool and a pool bar which offers yet another captivating view of the Bosphorous and the residential neighborhood around. Seeing this amenity for a boutique hotel alone, upon check-in made me realize I booked the right hotel already. Alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and ala carte menu is available from the restaurant. Just wasn’t sure about any room service feature, as I didn’t even thought about it during my stay. I’ve also noticed a self serving water and coffee station in the lobby for all the guests which is another plus. I have observed that the hotel is fairly new hence a well maintained standard for cleanliness and upkeep was noticeable. The design of the hotel is modern yet refreshing, the same time comfortable and relaxing for all type of travelers. I am hopeful that they can maintain the cleanliness and over all presentation of the hotel as the years go by. As for the location, Findikli will always be my choice to stay at. Its situated on a hill so during check-in and check out, assistance from the hotel staff is required and will definitely be provided, when carrying and loading your suitcases to and from your transport. My wife and I enjoyed our week-long stay in the Soul Hotel in Istanbul in January 2023. We found a “home” there and got treated like “VIPs”. (I’m confident that EVERY Soul Hotel guest likely receives VIP TREATMENT, though.) Normally, I would not post a review because leaving a SUPER review has the potential to make it harder for me to find availability for my own stay. However, I see that recently there was posted a crazy review. People need to know that that review is baloney, and I don't believe one single word of it, and neither should you! I’m American and have stayed in hotels throughout the world, so I am quite experienced to say that there is a combination of factors that makes the Soul hotel one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed in anywhere. The soul hotel is IMMACULATE. Not only is it clean, but it is also SAFE; the temperature controls in the room ALL work perfectly; the water pressure is SUPER; it is QUIET; the sheets and towels are new and high quality; it has a TERRIFIC breakfast; it’s a beautifully designed hotel with a lovely combination of antique and modern (see the photos)—BUT… incredibly----these are not even the best feature. THE BEST feature of the hotel is: its STAFF. They are ALL GOOD PEOPLE. The staff members really CARE about guests. They ALL speak English quite well and most speak other languages, too! They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, and helpful. When you combine all these elements together, it makes for a truly memorable experience that is even reasonably priced(!) On top of the pricing, the design, the excellent staff, the great food and immaculate cleanliness, THEN there's the LOCATION. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of the most charming part of Istanbul. There are antique shops and art galleries and coffee houses all around, and it’s even around the corner from the #1 Hammam Spa in Istanbul. It’s also located about 7 minutes walking distance from Istiklal Street, the major street where all the big shops are. There’s simply no better accommodations to be had in Istanbul. I invested an huge amount of time researching and vetting various hotels before choosing the Soul Hotel, and I chose entirely correctly. So, for free, you now get to benefit of all my investigations and experience, and I get to worry that I’ll have to fight you in the future for my own reservations. I wrote this because I couldn't ignore the reputation of this really fine establishment being attacked by crazy lies. Soul Hotel staff give their best for guests, and I feel obliged to stand-up against any bad things implied about this hotel. Soul Hotel is a CLASS ACT all the way.
