"This place was not what was in the pictures. The rooms just felt very uncomfortable. They did have outdoor sitting areas but they looked like the end of an after party."

In my experience, the customer service fell short of expectations and could benefit from noticeable improvement. A welcoming demeanor and simple courtesy—such as a genuine smile—can significantly enhance a guest’s experience. While I did not have particularly high expectations given the name “The Red Carpet Inn,” I still anticipated a reasonable standard of hospitality and upkeep.
Unfortunately, the property did not fully meet those expectations. The overall odor within the facility was unpleasant and could certainly be addressed. Although the cleanliness was acceptable for an inn of this category, it lacked the freshness and attention to detail that would make guests feel comfortable.
Aesthetically, the rooms appear outdated and in need of renovation. The addition of a few brightly colored furniture pieces seems to be an attempt to give the impression of recent remodeling; however, these accent pieces do little to disguise the overall condition of the space. The updates feel superficial rather than substantive—more cosmetic than structural.
My wife and I only needed a place to rest for a few hours before catching a flight later that evening, and for that limited purpose it sufficed. However, I would not consider staying here for more than one night, and even that would be with hesitation.
Additionally, the “closet” was not a true closet at all. It consisted merely of an exposed wall-mounted rod with no enclosure or doors, which further contributed to the unfinished and poorly designed feel of the room.
Overall, while the property may serve as a very short-term stopover, there is significant room for improvement in customer service, atmosphere, and genuine modernization. Bright Spot would only be the Shuttle to the Airport that is included at checkout. This would be there saving grace."
"Booked 3 nights here while visiting family in Fort Lauderdale and waiting to fly out, and we were really happy with this hotel. Alana at the front desk helped us find a missing bar stool for our kitchen. 😊 Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Hyatt House is geared towards extended stays so the kitchen is full sized and great for self catering, but this location on Dania Pointe is surrounded by restaurants so we ended up eating out quite often!
Pool was clean, heated (not necessary in Dania in September but it was ok). Gym was small but ok, mostly cardio, some dumbbells and a bench. Breakfast was decent as chain hotels go, nothing to shout about but ok."
ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel is is clean and modern with a free shuttle to airport which is nice. Upon check in I was told that they only do housekeeping every other day which is the first time I have heard this from a hotel and rather strange. I only stayed here for 2 nights so we did not get any housekeeping.
There were limited amenities in the room as well like basic toiletries were not provided. No laundry bag, no coffee except for tea bag. But the hotel was clean, just felt it was very minimal to the services provided.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel is nice overall but the receptionist Shelly-Ann is just miserable and patronising. she's not a nice person and very poor customer service and the swimming 🏊♂️ has human shower dirty inside. the swimming 🏊♂️ is not good to swim.
Pporschstera decent hotel for overnight layover for cruise or airport. it's close to both and the hotel offers free shuttle to airport but you must book early.
price is decent and hotel is decent but it's busy so there's always a lineup at the counter. Staff are not bad but sometimes slow due to various client requests.
If you don't have a car it's a pain to get around as there's not much nearby other than a couple ***** malls and limited eateries.
Overall, not bad for what you pay
ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อI had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities. The bed was comfortable and the environment was quiet. The location was convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Overall, it was a great value for the price, and I would consider staying here again.
ผผู้เข้าพักWhen we arrived we checked in and went to the room. I opened the door and immediately smelled something bad . it smelled like urine. I didn”t even go all the way in, but had my friends come up to the door. We knew we couldn”t stay there. Back to the lobby. He was very nice. He gave us another room. It was supposed to be newly renovated, but obviously was not. It smelled better so we stayed there. The breakfast was very good.
NNabilaZion876I really enjoyed my stay at Avid Hotel in Fort Lauderdale! The hotel has a clean, minimalist style that feels modern and refreshing. One of my favorite features was the 24-hour tea and coffee bar—such a nice touch!
The breakfast selection was great too, especially the inclusion of yogurt, peanut butter, and other healthier options. My room was spotless, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to assist with anything I needed. I had a great stay and would definitely stay again!
