"We had a nice trip to Bacolod and stayed at Acacia Hotel for 4 nights. The people are very warm and they always greet guests and the service is excellent. Breakfast buffet is good and included with our accommodation which is very affordable with the amenities as well with wave pool. We also enjoyed the massage that we availed. There is just one thing that the management must address, the ac had a disturbing sound and I hope they would fix it. The location is good because it’s very near the mall. Overall we had a good time staying at Acacia Hotel Bacolod."

"I booked seven rooms for a night for my family and relatives, totaling 20 people. Before our stay, I tried reaching out to the hotel through email, phone calls, and a third-party booking app, but I couldn’t get any responses. I only received an automatic reply saying they were unavailable and suggested I try again later. On the day of our check-in, I called the hotel around 2 PM to confirm our late arrival since we had a day tour planned. Thankfully, they answered and noted our late check-in. When we arrived around 6 or 7 PM, everything went smoothly, and they accommodated us on the same floor, which was great! The hotel provided basic amenities, but we noticed there were no bottled waters in the rooms. Some relatives were uncomfortable using the water dispenser located outside the rooms, which made it a bit inconvenient. We understand the hotel’s effort to reduce plastic waste, but it would have been nice if they had provided reusable glass bottles instead. Overall, we had a lovely stay. Everyone had a good night’s sleep, and the next day we enjoyed the clean pool, with staff available to help us. The hotel rooms were tidy and well-maintained."

"It was a really good stay considering the price point and the convenience of staying nearby establishments. Whenever we need something we can go directly to Robinsons Mall. It is also easy to commute to different places since the main road is just in front of the mall. One jeepney/bus ride away from pasalubong areas and places to eat. They give free slippers and room is clean and cozy."

"The place is ok. If you just sleep there and go out to explore the city. The room is small. The bathroom is spacious enough for two. The staff were very nice and accommodating. It's very close to SM and Bacolod Plaza and Cathedral. You can just walk to get there."

"I have mixed feelings about our recent stay. On many fronts, this hotel hits the mark perfectly, but a significant issue with the room layout left our group feeling a bit frustrated. The Positives The Staff: Truly the highlight of the stay. Everyone we encountered was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. Value: Generally speaking, the prices are very reasonable for the level of service and the amenities provided. The Issue: ”Unequal and Unfair” Room Sizes We were a group of 8 people and booked 4 separate rooms (2 people per room). Despite paying the same rate, the room sizes were wildly inconsistent. Some of us had plenty of space, while others felt cramped in significantly smaller quarters. When we brought this up to the front desk, the staff actually confirmed that we aren't the first guests to complain about this. It’s disappointing to know that management is aware of the ”size lottery” but hasn't taken steps to adjust the pricing or clearly categorize the rooms during the booking process. It feels unfair to pay the same price for a much smaller experience. If you are traveling solo or as a couple and don't mind a bit of a gamble, this is a lovely place to stay. However, for groups booking multiple rooms, the lack of consistency is a real problem. I hope management addresses this soon—either by renovating or by being more transparent about room dimensions or adjusting prices for smaller cuts."
