"Samesun Montreal is hands-down my go-to hostel in the city. Every stay has been consistently great — welcoming staff, a fun atmosphere, and a layout that makes it easy to meet other travelers.
The rooms and common areas are always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the vibe is exactly what you want in a hostel: social but still relaxed enough to get a good night’s sleep.
Whether I’m visiting Montreal for a quick trip or a longer stay, Samesun is always my first choice. Highly recommended!"
"They don't have car park, it costs us cad 45 for the closer parking lot which allows our vehicle in and out for one time only. More over, they don't have lift and assistance for your luggages moving to your room."
"Basically, this place is for campus students to stay so pretty different comparing to standard hotel or AirBNB.
I don't see a hair dryer, kleenex box, coat hanger (but you hav closet), kettle and coffee set, etc...
But the place is nice and clean.
They don't store your luggage before CI/after CO, they will introduce you their parter doing storage service, cost me 8$ after pertnership discount which seem to be fair in this city.
I'm glad I could stay here with last minute booking although it was in middle of F1 weekend."
"Hotel location is nice , staff are friendly and helpful, but the photos at the App is tricky, we had photos and information that the room is 25 square meters and double bed actually the room is too small almost 12 meters and bed is too small not as double bed and we didn’t realize this till we arrive there any way we had only one night and wasn’t pleasant"
"Propre, sauf de la poussière sur les murs et sur le support de fer à repasser, donc à des endroits peu utilisés ou peu visibles. Lits confortables. Le rapport qualité/prix est bon."
"Alt Hotel was a great experience. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and affordable with a nice view. Everything was modern and there is a Cafe downstairs. The only troubles we had was one impatient housekeeper when we asked for more toiletries and noise during the night from the restaurants below."
ผผู้เข้าพักAmazing service! The service desk had text us twice to se if we needed anything, we asked for towels and they came up right away. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and tons of variety.
MMatt88My sister and I just finished visiting my son in Toronto and we decided to visit Montreal. We booked 2 rooms.
We had a terrible experience at Royal York Fairmont . We got kicked out from the lobby lounge by Karen over there for voicing our concern for the service being slow.
For we had absolutely low expectations for QE. When we checked in there were 3 staff at the counter. 2 of them were engaged in their friendly conversation and one of them stepped up to help us. I thought that was totally unprofessional for the staff chatting among themselves in front of guests.
Rooms are basic and clean. The location is central. The staff has showed no warmth and attention. In Asia a hotel of this level will greet u warmly and the better one will remember your name.
Services at restaurants in Montreal are top notch. We visited some with long history and the staff took pride to explain to us the history. It is a shame Fairmont has some of best historic buildings in Canada and the staff showed no interest to highlight the history of the buildings.
I travelled a lot for me to earn a diamond member here. I will avoid staying at Fairmont and any of their member hotels from now on.
ผผู้เข้าพักExcellent hotel, reasonable prices, the room is squeaky clean, friendly hotel staff and very accommodating. I noticed only 1 minor thing, you have to pay for the parking spot per night. Generally it was a great stay. Will recommend and stay again soon.
MMarley KThis hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well.
This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate.
I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal.
ผผู้เข้าพักIt’s good but not satisfying actually they charge for parking my previous visit in Montreal but n other hotels they didn’t charge for parking anyway it’s good experience
