Pleasant stay at this hotel. Rooms would benefit from air con as it did get very hot in thr night. Breakfast service could have been a little better as was not given a menu on arrival and had to remind them we needed to order.

I have stayed in this hotel quite a few times now, and every time has been a great experience. Clean tidy and sstaff are friendly and curtious.

Spotlessly clean room and bathroom Comfiest bed ever Special mention to Alex , on front desk and also serving breakfasts . He was rushed off his feet but still polite and friendly to everyone …. Needs a pay rise !! 😀 Breakfast was nice but could have been hotter really .

Rooms Fantastic Breakfast was an absolute Shambles! We waited over 40minutes for a hot breakfast which never arrived! We got fed up of waiting and had to leave as we were attending a family gathering which we had travelled over 120 Miles to attend. Not what I would expect Very disappointed and ruined our stay!

The room was clean and well appointed but there was a drain smell and the hairdryer wasn’t working consistently. Staff at the hotel were welcoming and noise wasn’t a problem. Beds and pillows were comfortable as expected it was just the slight smell in the room that wasn’t great.

Decent sized room, comfortable bed, good shower, decent work space. For the price I wasn't expecting much but this exceeded my expectations.

A good night sleep followed by the best we’ve had at any Premier inn. Chef Karen can do a perfect poached egg and a mean black pudding. The breakfast presentation was really nice and all the staff were friendly too. 😁thank you. Richard, Jackie and Harrison

We arrived at the hotel, premier room, to an overpowering smell of chlorine, as though we were in a swimming pool. I assumed the toilet had just been bleached. We dashed out as we were very late arriving and had an appointment. We got back in the evening to the room smelling of drains, it was gross. It was there all night and I had zero sleep. We were too tired to go to reception (no phone in room to call) as we had had a nightmare long journey and hoped to sleep. Went to shower to find only one bath and one hand towel for two people. First and last stay at Premier Inn. We reported the smell to reception when we left and nobody bothered to contact us. I emailed Premier Inn, but no response.

Room is smaller than other Premier Inn hotels but has a more modern updated decor. But not Hypnos bed - now silentnight so not as good. Same with pillows - not as good as before. Bathroom is compact so kept banging my elbow on the shower towel rail whist trying to use the sink! Good shower though with rain head! Good breakfast from 06:30 but have to wait for cooked food order.
