Beautiful decorated rooms. Attention to detail you will find in the room and on the property. The food at the restaurant was also very good. Staff very friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

Gorgeous environment and loved our stay.
One blip the service from the kitchen very slow - we waited 45 minutes for dinner.

What a wonder place to rest after a long drive. The rooms are huge with stunning en suite bathrooms. The bed is huge with crisp white linens. Loved the complimentary snack platter and wine. The surrounding property is beautiful and the restaurant and bar setting is just perfect. The food is delicious. I could have stayed eating breakfast for hours. Overall the service and the property is totally worth it. Wish we could have stayed longer. P.S.
It's pet friendly and load shedding proof. Thanks guys!

In my previous message I didn’t realize we were upgraded, room is very nice and spacious.
Did receive the complementary wine only after asking 2 times, which seems strange. Nibbles were okay.
Check in procedure seems long and awkward. Rom for improvement.

This is one of my favourite hotels in South Africa. The lovely heritage building is the biggest charm, and added to that is the friendliness of the staff, overall comfort and excellent kitchen. Moreover I was for the most part served in my language Afrikaans. Thank you Drostdy.

We had a lovely stay in the Drostdy. It's a lovely hotel, staff are friendly, and the service is professsional. The manager arranged for a room upgrade once they became aware that I enjoy VIP privileges; this was much appreciated!
