Filion Suites Resort & Spa

I’d just like to start by saying as you can see from all my other reviews I am usually very positive. However this is nowhere near a 5* hotel, 3* max Pros: - The reception staff (especially the saint of a woman in charge) - that same woman kindly let us move rooms to a marginally better one - the lovely waiter costas -the food was ok most nights, just not 5* worthy… Cons: - The AWFUL hotel manager, when we complained there was no water for two evenings (therefore no showers or teeth brushing after travelling and being in 30+ degrees heat) we were told by him “there are real problems in the world like Paris riots”. He also said passive- aggressive comments to me and rolled his eyes the next day when I came to the lobby to ask for the bus schedule… - The wait for the bus (car which fits 8 at a time) - The fact that TWO different people walked in on me undressed when I was having a massage because there were no signs to say treatment in progress - The queue for the bar - The measly snack options - The disgusting murky pool with a line of green dirt along the edges - The stained furniture in the room.. - The broken glass on the restaurant floor All in all a waste of money, stranded in the mountains.

We have just got back from a wonderful week at this resort. Firstly, the setting is beautiful especially just as the sun is going down. The views from the dining terrace are stunning. The food we had both in the dining room and the pool snack was very good and although some reviews say different, there was plenty of choice. Our room was really comfortable and clean, overlooking the pool area with a great balcony to enjoy the views. All the staff are helpful and friendly and make all guests Wond feel welcome. There is entertainment every evening around the pool bar but everything stops at 11 so no late night noise. The resort is well maintained and very clean but it's the people that make this place special. We would thoroughly recommend Filion Suites Resort.

hotel in a quiet area, pleasant and private. For me it's 3 not 5 stars. no kids club or entertainment for children during the day. the children were bored without an animator. other than that, it was adequate for the price I paid. A very big plus for very nice service and friendly people.

This place! I love it. It is nesseled within the hills in a real secluded area just off the track from the main town of Bali. The hotel is fantastic the staff cannot do enough for you and genuinely show interest in your day and holiday in general - they care which is a rarity. The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need to enjoy your stay, they are cleaned daily. There is a shuttle bus to the main town every 30 mins or so which is great the walk is about 1.5km otherwise and would be pleasant but it was very warm!! The town itself is small but quaint again the people are lovely and the food is excellent. Stat bar right next to the harbour beach is awesome! The hotel food and drinks are of local variety and I was impressed on both. Local drinks are served within the inclusive menu but if you chose you can buy named drinks. The pools are lovely, cold and refreshing which is a godsend in the heat. Water and beach towels are available from reception. The staff are just wonderful, the bar staff and reception are exceptional in their desire to provide the best customer service. We will visit again.

Wonderful views of the mountain and pool from the room, wonderful staff and perfect place to unwind! Regina at reception was so helpful and always went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Will 100% look at returning for next year!

We really enjoyed our stay at Filion Suites Resort and Spa. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, particularly Regina on reception. We stayed for a week with our two boys in a room opposite the children’s pool and play area. It was incredibly relaxing; a quiet area in the beautiful mountains but a sizeable hotel with 3 pool areas and different places with sunbeds. We really enjoyed the wide selection of food, which catered well for the children and fresh, plentiful options for adults. The outside dining area had beautiful views and we found the room clean, well equipped and comfortable. The hotel provides a regular bus to the beach in Bali. We did this for a couple of days and then we hired a car to explore parts of the island, which was arranged through the hotel and very easy. We enjoyed the evening entertainment- particularly the traditional Greek dancing and other nights and we would love to return. Thank you very much Filion.

Initially we were dissapointed on first look of the hotel as we based our decision to stay on the 5 star rating. The superior room which is to sleep 3 only has 2 beds and a sofa bed which was uncomfortable and hard to sleep on. However, the staff, views and food were amazing! Really friendly and accommodating! The lovely lady with dark brown hair on reception I cannot remember her name but I would like to give her a mention, also Vasilis! So friendly amazing! Thank you, I would return with my children!

Great view,good food, family holiday for a week in April and crete was great good venue nice service. We stayed mainly in the resort and had access to the beach via a shuttle provided by the hotel. Rooms were nice and clean and all the staff were polite.

Amazing stay in the beginning of the season 2024 in Filipn Suites in beautiful Crete. The staff is very helpful and the views really gorgeous. We suggest the hotel for couples and families for a relaxing stay. We will return for sure. Bali is quiet and nice.
