We stayed at the waterfall house. The location was amazing and beautiful the house was cute and historical. Pros- view above all else! walkable to everything, clean, responsive host, nicely furnished. Cons - only 2 bath towels for 5 days, needs more comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy the view- no lounge chairs or cushions, BBQ area neglected, no freezer or paper towels. There's a cool path in the back with an old mill wheel that would be great if it was maintained - too overgrown to be used.

We stayed in two apar**ents they have in Santa Cruz das Flores. Both are clean and in good condition, but they were unable to solve two very simple problems, although we insisted on several occasions - no more toilet paper was provided once the initial rolls were finished (insufficient for a 4-night stay) and they did not give us the password for the wifi.
