A lovely Day, we were made to feel very welcome by the riad dar besouda team thank you yazid for youre hospitalisé, he was extremely friendly and helpful The place Was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was perfect and provided enery for the day

I have come with my family of 5 at this beautiful riad , right away we were welcomed with Moroccan tea and homemade cookies and we felt a good energy, the manager Yasim explained the history of the place and gave us a tour, the beauty of tiles is breathtaking, we did a cooking class with the cook and the food was delicious, and we ve learnt a lot Thank you for the kindness of all the team

A 17th century home of Moroccan King’s close assistant is now converted into a tourist home. Located within the Medina of Fes, it is a 10’minute walk from the town centre. There is porter assistance to get your luggage through the narrow streets and to your room. The house still holds the same mosaic and wood from the old days and they pride in keeping them. So if you see the floors chipped off and wooden doors not closing, it is to keep their history. The breakfast is just ok, to keep you from starvation. The rooms are spacious and not expect to be in level of a boutique or star hotel. Swimming pool (not temperature controlled) is there and a nice terrace with the view of the medina. For readers, there is nice reading room and lots of places to relax. You can also book the moroccan bath and massage from the place itself. All historic locations are close by in walking distance.

This is very well refurbished riad in a great location, we felt this place has soul and a sense of history and nostalgia, The staff wonderful , yazid was very kindly took the time to guide us through the dark streets towards the accomodation , the breakfast was also sublime.

The riad is way overpriced. The pool is not clean. The breakfast is ok. The bedroom had a smell, the shower wasn’t working and the furniture needs to be replaced!!! We will not come back to this place. For any changes of reservation, the front desk staff is absolutely not helpful and not forthcoming. The baggage porters - Aziz and Driss were very kind and helpful

Wonderful accommodations. Very helpful staff. We came here for her 30th wedding anniversary. They made everything so special and nice for us. We even had a romantic dinner on the rooftop. My husband loves pizza and they made a special pizza for us .

My friend and I stayed at Dar Bensouda for a few nights and each night kept getting better and better. The staff were so welcoming and kind, with lots of care and attention. The food was incredible! The pool and roof were ideal for lounging and getting refreshed. We had a hammam and loved the experience as well. The whole place is designed for relaxing and comfort. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Thanks for your warm welcoming, consideration, and care. The reserved and kind attitude made us feel safe and protected... A very comfortable feeling that helped us much in the frenetic and poorly ordered medina of Fes. The room, Restaurant and all other common spaces are very clean. The restaurant serves good breakfasts and nice local dinner dishes

The Riad Bensouda in Fès is a journey like no other. The 400 year old home of an academic, now a Riad/Hotel that serves its guests an experience far beyond lovely rooms, quiet nights, and first rate accommodations. The breakfast table is simply delicious, coffee is always waiting, no matter how early. The kitchen staff create Moroccan old and new cuisine at your will. Management and staff meet every need, always with a smile and a personal touch - it felt like my home. A guest experiences the ancient city of Fez, and modern comforts, which combine to make this hotel genuinely unforgettable.
