This riad was fabulous in so many ways! The setting is amazing— an oasis of tranquility in Fes on the edge of the Medina. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with individual temperature controls that are easy to use. Decor is traditional Moroccan style, with Berber carpets on beautiful tile floors and colorful mosaics decorating walls everywhere. The central atrium is airy, light, with a central fountain and plants and flowers. The food is so tasty! Be sure to have a tajine or chicken pastilla. And Moroccan tea, of course! Best of all are the employees. Marcos guarantees you have whatever you need or want. He is funny and so welcoming. At one dinner with a live musician he sang along, danced, and another time performed a great rap for us! Another standout is Fattah, whose kind gentle demeanor makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Fes, stay at Riad el Yacout!

The Riad El Yacout is so unique and one of my favorite experiences in Fes. Aside from the spectacular ambiance and architecture, the staff is so hospitable - they were just incredible, especially Marcos! The food is delicious and the rooms are gorgeous. It truly was the best experience!

Very enjoyable 3 night stay at this riad. The owner combined and renovated several homes and created a true Moroccan experience. Nice mosaic and tile work. Clean with an excellent staff. If Marco is still here when you visit, a great stay is all but guaranteed.

Great Maroccan hotel in the heart of Fes. Marcos was the best. Full of energy and seemed to work around the clock. Made our stay in Fes easy and fun. The Hotel has a traditional Moroccan layout and feel. Rooms were spacious. If you are looking for a great experience, this is the place to stay.

This place was very good. The Riad was stunning and a perfect place to relax after spending a hectic day in fes. The service was especially good. Marco who was the waiter but his role seemed to be more enhanced than that was so attentive. He worked incredibly hard to make every guest feel very special. I assume the hotel know how lucky they are to have him. I normally don’t like eating in hotels. This was an exception. The food was fantastic, served at a very large table with great service. The rooms did not quite match the impressiveness of the rest of the Riad but that was not a massive deal for us. I would recommend staying here for sure.

From the moment we walked into this beautiful riad I felt as if my dreams of Morocco had come true! What a gorgeous place and Abdul and his staff took amazing care of us! Ziad at the front desk was so helpful and Marcos kept us constantly entertained! The first night we were treated to a fabulous dinner in the lovely courtyard complete with Moroccan music and dancing. The pool area was relaxing as well with a peaceful ambiance both morning and night. A great place to escape the excitement of outside. If you choose to stay here I promise you won’t be disappointed!!

Marcos is the best! So welcoming and full of energy and a truly wonderful representative for riad el yacout fes!!! I had a Hammam while I was there. The women were professional and I enjoyed the entire experience. Ann Marie Patrick London Ontario Canada

We stayed here while on a tour of Morocco. The manager Abdullah could not have been more helpful and friendly. Anything we needed he was able to assist with. Our room was my favorite room of all of the rooms we stayed in while in Morocco. It was beautifully restored and looked down on the main courtyard. The staff was AMAZING! Marco was very accommodating and got us anything we needed. I had heard that staying at a Riad was a unique experience, but this truly blew me away. I am very thankful I was able to,experience this.

The rooms are gorgeous, each one different from the others. Decor is authentic to Fes. Breakfast was delicious, service was excellent, and staff was friendly and almost everyone spoke English. Marcos is remarkable and a true asset to this establishment. This riad is conveniently located to restaurants, plazas, and the shuk. Also, experience the hamam for a body scrub and massage!!!!
