Who doesn’t want to be social in a colorful and lush riad in the medina? A breezy rooftop to have a tea, play cards with other travellers and watch the sunset, a library, one of the best and reasonably priced dinners we’ve had the the entire trip, in candle-light next to the palms and with the calming sounds from the fountain. Professional with a heart, chill vibes and lovely staff made our last day and night in a three bedroom in Fez great. Located just an alley away from one of the main drags Talaa Kebira with shop till you drop- everything, sister restaurant Fondouk Bazaar (don’t miss the green shakshuka), Hammam Mernissi & spa, near Bab Boujloud, the blue gate, an ATM, the public gardens Jardin Jnan Sbil and a rather brutal food market. Porterservice and taxi in the wee hours went smooth as silk to the pretty Fez airport. We will be back, inshallah!
