This place is steps away from the ocean! There are several bars and restaurants within walking distance and even more in a short drive. They offer a very nice breakfast every morning as well.

Where to start; the room smelled horrible, like dirty cleaning supplies. TV didn’t work and no hot water. The place gave me nursing home vibes. We were in the room less than 5 minutes. We left and stayed down the street at the Home2 by Hilton, I recommend that place. We did not get a refund from the Amelia, but there was no way I was staying the night there.

My stay at this hotel was good. The room was dated and had a musty smell to it, but I slept comfortably and loved that the beach was right across the street. The front desk staff aren’t exactly the friendliest people. I only spent one night and would book this hotel again because of its good price.

This property overall is adequate. Our room did show wear and tear. There was a black substance around the tub. The bathtub ran a leaking steady stream of water. There were breakfast items on ration, such as yogurt. The main concept The Amelia Hotel has going for it is “location”. I would not stay at The Amelia Hotel again.

Staff very accommodating and personable. We had a problem with our room when we first checked in and the gentleman at the front desk, changed our room immediately. He even sent the head of Housekeeping and the Maintenance man, immediately to see if they could fix it. We enjoyed the property.

Perfect location - good choices for breakfast; spacious room; only complaint is the leaky bathtub faucet. Mgmt said they are waiting on a part to fix the problem.

Didn’t like they put us in adjoining room, they people in room next to us smoked and we could smell it in our room, I was told when check in it was smoke free. Also in bathroom used wash cloth was left in bathroom on shower curtain rod, fan in bathroom didn’t work either. But other than that, it was okay
I told service desk guy about the smoke coming in our room, didn’t seem concern.
