Honestly, this experience was one of a kind! Although the arrival was surreal via our private Helicopter ride; yet, something was missing during my stay! You’ll understand soon.
The resort is lovely and not old enough, around seven years ago, and located on a very awesome Island called Felicity. Most of the staff are newly recruited, and honestly, most of them are the kindest people. However, I read the news later on and discovered what happened on that island a few months ago, and that was horrible!! Then I knew what it was missing: just a touch of renovation to revive the place, maybe new designs, events, food, etc. Otherwise, I would say that I had a below-normal experience in my first Six Senses Chain experience, especially since the previous resot was Anantara Maia, which was an unforgettable one. Finally, the Spa experience was the only activity I recommend, and it was entertaining and energetic. I appreciate your understanding. I hope that my reviews will help you to choose the right place!
The property is beautiful and well appointed with wonderful art and design. Upon entering our room we noticed a problem with the air conditioning- we called, they answered QUICKLY! They tried to resolve the problem, but as it needed more Ashveena QUICKLY got us moved to a new room and took AMAZING care of us throughout our stay. The staff was absolutely AMAZING, accommodating, and professional. They go the extra mile to remember you, your room number, what you like, and how you like it:) HUGE KUDOS TO ASHVEENA! We don’t care for organized tours and she hooked us up with a private tour company and we saw and bought EVERYTHING we needed. Our driver DAVE was beyond knowledgeable, awesome, and accommodating! The laughter, intimate knowledge of the people, places, and things made it a rich experience.
We had a great start of our holidays at Paradise Chalets- a perfect place to explore the south of Mahé. But also the beach in front of the hotel is beautiful- Anse Parnel. The people at Paradise Chalets are very friendly and always helpful. An extra attraction is the yoga place with an extraordinary view and Maya, the professional yoga teacher is offering fantastic and all variations of yoga lessons in the early morning and late afternoon - a must for all yogis and yoga interested in Mahé!
My stay at the resort was truly unforgettable. The villa was spotless and equipped with all the amenities one could need. The hotel’s restaurant deserves three Michelin stars. The staff was always ready to assist, especially Ara Dh Ana, who ensured the villa was impeccably clean, and Sheryl, who fulfilled all my requests with a radiant smile and boundless energy.
If you’re looking for a luxurious hotel with a relaxed feeling, this is the place to go. The views are simply stunning, especially from the main pool area. Rooms are big enough, the pool areas always have space and the staff is nice. The different restaurants offer everything from seafood to Japanese and Italian to burgers. Since it’s the Seychelles, you’ll be paying a lot for your lunch and dinner if you dine at the hotel (burger is $60). So prepare with a budget that goes beyond the room rates. We fell in love with the breakfast. You get to order small a la carte plates and everything was delicious. Probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve been to. We were promoted to make restaurant reservations through an LXR Concierge service beforehand but the staff at the hotel didn’t know anythint about it. So book the restaurants directly at the hotel. Also service at the pool was sometimes a little bit slow but otherwise the staff was great, especially at the breakfast and the nice little cocktail bar upstairs of the main building.
