FoRest Village Resort

We had the most wonderful time in Forest Međugorje. I was a little sceptical with the idea of bungalows. But i must say it was above any expectation. Contemporary design. Clean and spacious. Great AC and multimedia. We were able to watch Netflix (good wifi). Placed just outside of the city centre it provides a peaceful environment in modern newly built bungalows surrounded by woods. With great food they serve this makes a great base for visiting and exploring Međugorje. An elegant restaurant centrally located serves great and rich breakfast, but great food all throughout the day. Both nights we stayed we had a delicious dinner. Service is also great. Attentive and friendly. Although busy, the food and drinks were always on time, with no delays. Next to the restaurant there is a cute playground where you can sit with your kids and have coffee and cake. For those into basketball or football a professional court is just behind the bungalows. A new addition to the resort will definitely be the swimming pool, which sadly wasn't open yet. It will be any day, so we are already looking forward to the next visit. excellent location and hotel condition!! staff super friendly!!

Our fantastic experience started at the check-in, where we were welcomed by friendly staff. As a family package, we have been given two rooms with interconnecting doors, perfect for a family with children. The resort is a very peaceful and beautiful place, with so many spots where you can relax. The kid's playground is well equipped with tables all around it, so you can enjoy your drink while watching your kids having fun. The food is just phenomenal, compliments to the chef and to the amazing staff for making our dining experience memorable. If you want to relax, have a nice meal, or just enjoy in the great natural environment, then this is the perfect place for you!

This place was so awesome. We came from North America. The bungalows were super clean, in very good shape (not beat on) and are way better than a typical European hotel room. The staff at the front desk was so accommodating. The staff in the restaurant were excellent. The included breakfast was very tasty. Had the lady in the kitchen make us all different style of eggs for breakfast and the Americano coffees were included too ahhhh. We rented a vehicle Andy the airport so we had transportation. This resort is about a 5 minute drive to St James Church. We actually liked that- downtown Medjugorje was packed. We are dinner twice in the restaurant at the resort. The resort is building a massive new outdoor pool that apparently will be completed in 2024. Overall, we would recommend staying here, it’s a no-brainer.
