the location is directly in the dunes overlooking the sea, private Hotel entrance to the beach. The hotel is adults only. We had a corner suite, no. 404, on the 4th floor with a gorgeous view incl. the perfect sunsets. the living room was spacious with balcony just no shade there, bedroom with 2.TV and small dressing room, very practical. Bathroom with tub and sep. rainshower. The staff is attentive in all areas, reception, "roommaids", service in the Restaurant. Very pleasant being so pampered. We loved the outdoor lounge, just sitting there or having an afternoon coffee. The breakfast buffet had a huge choice but also able to order additional. At dinner time the Restaurant serves every day a different menu or order a la carte. A special treat is having dinner at the Gourmetrestaurant, Ostsee lounge, in the sister Hotel Fischland. A shuttle service is provided. We enjoyed our time.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Strandhotel Dunenmeer. The "beachfront" location was great, our room was amazing, the service was top notch and staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a suite (room 304). It was large with 2 bedrooms, a living room and 2 1/2 bathrooms (2 showers, 1 bathtub and 2 toilets) and balcony with lounge chairs. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of space to relax in the living room (large sofa and table and chairs) and it was very quiet. We had a 180 degree view of the ocean. I went swimming every morning. The pool was very nice and there were lots of loungers around the pool. My husband and I also used the sauna and steam room, which were great. We had a couples massage, which we really enjoyed. The hotel staff were incredible! They were professional, friendly and so helpful. I am a picky eater and the front desk staff asked the chef to prepare a special meal for me, which was delicious! The breakfast buffet had lots of variety (eggs, bread/rolls, meat, cheeses, fruit, cereals, yogurt, salads, pastry and more). We definitely had a 5 star experience. Thank you!!

This review is mainly for the services of Strandhotel Dünenmeer and its wellness facilities. We rented out the holiday flats belonging to this hotel for one week and had access to the hotel's services and facilities. The overall experience was disappointing. First of all, this is far away from being a 5-star wellness and SPA facility. The prices are completely off in comparison with the quality of the services and the SPA facilities. The pool is rather small for the size of the hotel and for all the holiday flats. It was always crowded and poorly ventilated when we went - what you don't want to have while you are relaxing in a wellness facility... The sauna set-ups were completely average and looking as if they were built decades ago and never modernized. Not to mention that, one is allowed only 15 minutes, 2 rounds max. Ridiculous!!! Secondly, the staff is inflexible and unfriendly. We announced that we would arrive with delay and that we would pay for the first night- in any case upon arrival, our booking was already canceled. They "accepted" us to stay as if they were making us a favor. We had major problems with the car and asked to keep both our car and the rental in the parking area of the hotel for a couple of hours until our broken car gets picked up. Obviously, we offered to pay. However, this was already too much of a request for them and we were forced to put one of the cars in the public parking area. The so-called hotel director threatened my husband and said he doesn't care that we need to get out of our comfort zone. This is from a director of a SPA/ wellness hotel!! When we wanted to check out we were accused that we did not give a credit card, which we gave upon arrival - otherwise, we wouldn't even have received the cards to get into our rooms. On top, we were charged with additional services we never used. The receptionist told us we need to talk to her colleague the second day because she didn't make the bill. But how if I wanted to check out??? Really disappointing experience overall and not what you expect from a 5-star wellness hotel. There are definitely much better wellness facilities in Europe than this one with true luxurious SPA and wellness facilities.

Wir kommen sehr gern hierher, da wir uns hier rundum gut betreut fühlen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und das Essen ist excellent. Ein Kurzurlaub hier ist immer Entspannung pur.

Es war ein wunderbarer erholsamer Urlaub! Es hat an Nichts gefehlt. Lage direkt am Strand. Tolles Ambiente, sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendmenü und sehr freundliches Personal.

Wir haben hier alles bekommen was wir wollten. Hotel mit toller Lage und Ausblick. Sehr freundlicher Empfang mit Begrüßungsgetränk. Hier findet man die Ruhe direkt in den Dünen.

Kenne das Hotel gut, allerdings verstehe ich den Preisanstieg nicht wirklich, für 2 Übernachtungen knapp 1000€ ist für mich nicht mehr gerechtfertigt. Früher war die Halbpension im Zimmer Preis inbegriffen und auch da hat man schon 350 pro Person gezahlt. Jetzt zahlt man fast 400 zwar inklusive Frühstück, aber ohne Dinner das dann auch nochmal über 50€ pro Person und Tag kostet. Und Frühstück + Dinner haben sich in der Qualität nicht geändert .

keine 5 Sterne 🤷🏼‍♂️, Preise für Essen und Getränke überzogen. Der Sportraum für ein 5 Sterne Haus schlecht ausgestattet. Die Lage hingegen ist hervorragend, Tiefgaragen Stellplatz war mit im Preis eingeschlossen.
