Campanile Albi Centre

Terrible… Room given to us was not the one that we reserved . When shown the room we reserved to them on the website that we reserved it they claimed that it’s not their fault!! No availability of appropriate working air conditioning unit in the room ion oneof the hottest days of the year Room is like a sauna. !Air coming out is not cold and front desk states “that’s the way it is“. No attempt to rectify the situation. When asking for ice or a Fan nothing available Would not recommend

Problem with reservation, I had to wait 2 hours.before getting on my room.

A modern, clean, compact addition to Campanile’s genre of city hotels, located in a built-up area and only a 20 minute walk to the awesome Sainte- Cecile 13th century gothic cathedral. It is claimed to be the largest brick-built cathedral and is truly impressive. The hotel room was a good example of Campanile’s standard design, spacious enough for a short stay with comfortable beds that we have come to expect. We slept well, although one has to accept some street noise from the usual culprits - motorbikes. Parking is a little restricted for the size of hotel, so it pays not to arrive late. The hotel has an attractive lounge and breakfast bar, but no restaurant. However, there is an excellent Spanish restaurant (La Cocina) alongside, where we dined. Altogether, the hotel was just fine for our stay in this very interesting city.

On arrival hotel looked basic, rooms were very clean but small. Felt as if the hotel was more for backpackers. Would not recommend if you wish to stay in the hotel as the seating area is seperate to the accommodation block.
