We just returned from a one-week stay at the GF Isabel with my wife and our two young children. We opted for half-board accommodations in a bungalow apartment. Pros: The hotel is nicely located, spacious, and has a charming village-like atmosphere. The three pools were pleasant, and we never had trouble finding loungers. The gym was decent, equipped with enough machines for a good workout. Evening entertainment was enjoyable and kid-friendly, offering plenty of variety. Additionally, the table service for drinks was quick and efficient. Cons: My main complaint is the food, which was likely the worst hotel buffet I've experienced. While it wasn't bad, it certainly didn't meet the standard set by other hotels I've visited over the past 30 years. There were no themed nights, limited variety, and generally nothing that was enticing enough for a second plate. Everything felt like a midweek dinner back home. The food at the pool bar was particularly disappointing; we waited 30 minutes for a half-cooked, pre-frozen pizza. As for the drinks, they were hit or miss, depending on who was tending the bar. The mojitos and Aperol spritzes were generally good, but the piña coladas, margaritas, and cosmopolitans we tried were terrible. The staff was professional and efficient, though not particularly friendly. In contrast, the cleaning staff were lovely and always greeted us with a smile and a cheerful ”Hola.” Overall, while the resort has some nice amenities, I ultimately feel it isn't worth the price tag, and I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

We arrived as a party of 12 at around lunch time and all rooms were ready on arrival. The hotel is in a fabulous location, around 2 mins walk to all the bars and restaurants in Adeje. Its a mix of timeshare members and holiday makers. Checking in was smooth, the staff very proficient and a quick unpack and the kids were all in the pool. Rooms are very modern and well equipped. The safe is included in the price of the room and there is even an iron and board provided. The Pool area is lovely, kept immaculately clean and the sun loungers very comfy. Pool itself was warm in October/November. Service and food at the Pool Bar is very very good. The staff work very hard and food and drink is reasonably priced with happy hour at 5-6pm each day. Entertainment was so so while we were there, but it doesn't appear to be that sort of hotel and we were not looking for that anyway. We left the hotel each night. Little notes. A few things are charged for. There is a 100 euro deposit on arrival against breakages, pool towels can be hired and the gym is chargeable per day. Overall a fabulous stay, our group agreed it was just what we all needed and adults and children had a fantastic time. So much so, we are all looking to book again next year.

Just got back from 10 nights (6th Dec to 16th Dec) at the El Mirador. So my simple review is of the prestige section of the hotel as we stopped in room 1208. Firstly firt time here in this adults ony hotel, on arrival everything looked and felt very impressive with very kind and welcoming staff, we got a basic tour before being taken to our magnificent room that had a lovely balcony with two chairs and two sun lounges. The room came with its own mini bar and wine fridege plus jars of snacks etc (the chocolate cones are amazing) these are filled up each and every day with the simple request to have more soft drinks as I dont drink alchohol also adhered too which was nice, I have to say my wife does like a glass of wine but the wine in the wine fridge was all red wine, bit starnge we thought. The sunbathing area including the little booths that contain all drinks and snacks where perfect. Breakfast in the prestige section was simply brilliant. The spa was small but if youre in pretige its free so we visited pretty much everyday. But the best bit about this hotel is the staff, nothing is too much trouble, I cant rember all the names but Jonathon (butler) Davide (waiter at breakfast) are just two out of the many amazing staff. Today is Tuesday 17th December so first day back and Ive booked to go again for 10 nights on the 8th Febuary 2025, I have also upgraded the room to a ? I think its a junior suite in the pretige section so I am so looking forward to my second visit here. P.S we ate out at the evening every night bar our final night where we ate at the hotel restaurant, It was genuinely the best meal of the holiday, the Tacos plus the Guinea fowl was to die for.

Excellent. Our holiday was very enjoyable and were pleased that RIU were able to accommodate our preference of room location. Service, all staff was impeccable, professional and welcoming. Great to see so many familiar faces. Gala dinners out of this world.. Location of hotel so close to the beach, pool and sun lounger areas well kept. Nice walks on the promenade and shops close by for some retail therapy.

What an amazing hotel. From the minute you arrive you are spoiled. The lovely staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Always smiling & always helpful. Our second visit so far. We had a sea view suite in Casas Ducales. Our suite was very clean & quiet most of the time. This part of the hotel is well worth the extra cost. We especially enjoy the private breakfast area as well as complimentary afternoon tea & evening canapés. The variety of restaurants is outstanding & even room service is impressive. Although the hotel is quite large it never feels overcrowded. No fighting for sun beds even though some feel the need to save theirs hours before they actually use them. Inevitable! Surely the sun shines everywhere. There are some lovely walks along the prom should you feel the need & a smart shopping centre within walking distance. There are swimming pools, tennis courts, a gym & spa & so much more on offer. All in all a superb hotel.
