Very friendly staff! Nice clean rooms and lovely food. games room with table football and pool is good fun!! amazing stay and enjoyed Claviere We are looking forward to returning and enjoying the hotel again! Would recommend to anyone in Claviere

On the main road in Claviere as you drive down from the ski centre. It's only just in Italy, very close to Montgenevre. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were all very nice. Breakfast was typical continental, no problems. It has an underground garage which is €15 extra. There is a small public car park about 80m down the road. Has an excellent restaurant attached to the same building.

The most disappointing hotel in Claviere!! We have visited the village for over 40 years and this was the first time we have stayed in the Passero Pellegrino and will definitely be the last. The food was terrible, we were a larger party so had a specific menu, off the main menu which had poor choices, served cold and we could be waiting for over an hour for starters. The attitude of the staff changed daily, from being slightly helpful to completely dismissive of our feedback. The parking is NOT free and please be careful as pre-booking is required which we were not aware. The rooms are tired and hot water and heating unpredictable, not ideal in winter! The bar area whilst nice, hotel guests were certainly not given any priority over seating areas or service. Generally only one person behind the bar and on average it took 17 minutes to get a served a drink.

We loved the location and the old rustic feel of this accommodation. The staff were extremely friendly and we found everything we needed.

We stayed here as part of an organised school trip for a week in April. We were a party of 86 and had sole occupancy of the hotel. The staff were all fantastic especially the reception team, they could not do enough for us. All rooms are warm and nicely decorated and the hotel is very clean. The large dining room is comfortable and the attatched games room and bar are a lovely addition. We sat by an open fire in the evenings in the very comfortable bar area where you can relax. The location is very good to the ski lift in Claviere and is only 5-6 mins away from Montgenèvre where we skied. The food was good, plenty of it each meal time. There are very nice restaurants and small shops including a supermarket and cafes in Claviere so location is also great. Would definitely come back to this hotel for a school ski trip, it had everything we needed.

We were part of a school trip of 70 plus students who stayed at the Pellegrino for 5 nights. It was perfect for all our our needs as a school - clean rooms, wonderfully friendly staff and lots of food! Would definitely bring a school party here again.

Let me start this off by saying the staff were great and very accommodating, but... the facilities were abysmal (excluding the bar). The theme ,bare wood and tartan, makes the place horrible to stay around. The miniscule showers will randomly decide to go freezing and lose water pressure. The food (besides the shop bought breakfast) was inedible pretty much everything was under cooked, they even served us red chicken, which can be seen in the photos. There is a strong smell of Tabaco across the whole hotel. The place is in a dire need of a financial takeover to get it into the current century. Reminds me of the hotel from the Inbetweeners Movie. This hotel would not be standing if it were in the UK, don't stay here until there has been an entire renovation.

When we arrived we got welcomed by all staff with open arms who took real interest in who we were and where we came from etc. The food we are supplied with is enjoyable with options of a salad bar, and 3 course meal which had to supply 40+ people, which they did well. Our room when we arrived was tidy and gets cleaned everyday which is what we wanted after a tough day of skiing. Overall the Passero is a friendly hotel with good people in and we couldn’t have asked for more. Would recommend to anyone wanting to ski nearby.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in, the food was almost inedible and the rooms were unclean and lots of the equipment was broken such as hairdryers and wall plugs. Staff didn’t do much to help us or supply us with new towels if we didn’t have any. Below is the food we were given. Apparently chicken nuggets
