Wow, what a beautiful hotel... super boutique, ultra clean, with big rooms and bathrooms, very stilish, with amazing pools and excellent location. Every area of the hotel is beautiful. You can't ask for more All staff was super friendly, including the manager, but excluding the reception head Ana (this is the only reason why I am not giving a 5 star review) Although the hotel was empty and I specifically requested in my reservation a room in a top floor with a balcony, upon arrival we were assigned a room with no balcony on the ground floor. The receptionist said that a room with my conditions was available for me, but Ana wanted to charge us 50pct extra for it. Not a good gesture, which cost nothing to the hotel and would have made us happy. Fortunately our room was way bigger than the other and was indeed more convenient. But in hotels, good customer service is everything
We stayed at the Hotel for 11 days, they advertice the hotel as a 5 star, but I would only rate it is 3 star. 1 star for cleaning, 4 for service from the frontdesk, and location close to the beach. The rooms has daily cleaning, and one has to call te reception everyday to tell them when the room is ready for cleaning, we did that and the only thing they did was making the bed, we asked several times to have the floor cleaned, or filling up soap, and we even had to go to the reception to ask for toilet paper, sometimes they didn't empty the trash. One day we came back to our room and they had left the gas on in the kitchen so we had to air out our room for long time. We asked to borrow an iron board and as you can see on the picture we got one, but as you can see it was of no use. The hot tub at the balcony is not a jacuzzi, it is only a hot tub, and we were never able to use it, since the warm water was not enough to fill it up. For the price and the fact they advertice it as 5 star, I would recommend you to find another place to stay. The breakfast was nice, you go downstairs to the bakery which is very good. It is not a hotel I would recommend, and I would never return

This is a terrific boutique hotel on Playa Bonita, Las Terrenas. It's right on the beach. The views and sunsets are amazing. As are the staff and the food! The water and beach at Playa Bonita are clean and safe. And the beach is one of the most laid-back places you'll find. The El Mosquito ”hotelito” only has about 20 rooms and must have about the same number of employees. The staff is wonderful as is the restaurant. I worry when staying at a hotel that is a little off the beaten path or a bit out of town that the hotel restaurant might not be good - have no fears - the restaurant at El Mosquito is outstanding. The chef at El Mosquito is Peruvian. The dishes offered are a great mix of traditional Dominican dishes, plus Peruvian ones like cerviche, cousa, and ahi gallina. Wow. I was impressed. Plus the restaurant offers the typical selection of American offerings you'd expect at any beach hotel such as burgers, pizza and sandwiches. Jennifer at the front desk was amazing. As was Mikil the restaurant manager. A shout-out goes to the whole staff. I would recommend this place for couples, families, or solo travelers. The hotel also has a surf school. While the beach at Playa Bonita is pretty tame you can catch some waves (yay!). It was nice to see some little ones learning how to surf while on vacation. That was cool. This is just a great, relaxing place. I can't recommend it enough.
ผผู้เข้าพักGenerally ok and I did extend my trip a couple of days. The food was good and the entertainment team were great. The front desk however are a bit full of themselves. When I arrived at 14h30 they told me the room would be ready by 15h15. When I went back at 15h30 they said 16h30… it was because they were still painting it! When I went in the room I lent against the wall and got covered in paint. I contacted the front desk who seemed very inconvenienced by the issue and said ‘I suppose you will want to change room’. Well yes… did they offer to help me clean off the paint, move my luggage to the new room, bring the new keys to me? No No No - had to do it all myself. So service recovery skills there non existent. They also messed up the new keys when I extended the stay so I had to go back. There is a club area on the beach but it is so badly signposted that people would drift in there and sit down and then get into a fight (literally) with the club guests. The signage needs to be made a lot clearer. I don’t really want to listen to that on my vacation and I expect people who go in there by accident want to be humiliated either. But I did like the hotel and particularly the beach was great for swimming.
