"Staying at Dar D’or Fez was truly one of the highlights of my time in Fes. This beautiful riad perfectly captures the charm and authenticity of Moroccan hospitality.
The design is stunning—traditional architecture with intricate details, colorful tiles, and a peaceful courtyard that feels like a hidden oasis inside the bustling medina. Every corner is thoughtfully decorated, making it both cozy and visually impressive.
The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help with directions, recommendations, or simply a friendly chat. Their hospitality made the stay feel personal and memorable.
Breakfast was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and served in a relaxing setting. It was the perfect way to start the day before exploring the vibrant streets of the medina.
The location is excellent, close enough to major attractions yet tucked away in a quiet area, allowing for a restful night’s sleep"
"Really like the location, just beside the train station. The service was very good, they changed my room when I complained about the hair dryer that not working. The restaurant located nearby swimming pool, very nice view during breakfast"
"Our experience at Marriott Fez was fantastic.Friends holiday with a group of seven adults. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was great . The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to every detail, making sure we felt at home. It was one of our friends' birthday on the day of arrival and we had a fantastic birthday surprise from the manageress.
Thanks to the entire team at Janan Palace.
The Fes Marriott is a fantastic option with plenty to offer. The hotel features three excellent restaurants, each providing a distinct dining experience. The outdoor areas are impressive with a large swimming pool.
Beautiful hotel to spend a few days while visiting Fes."
"The experience we had at another Riad set very, very high expectations, so read this with that in mind :)
I've worked and stayed in luxury hotels around the world, and if you're looking for a stunning hotel, with pleasant service this would be a top choice. However overall we were looking for more of an intimate experience. Staff were very nice; they were young, friendly, kind and caring. Travelling with my mother however, it felt very uncomfortable when I was asked 'how my wife was doing?!', this summed up the disconnection between the hotel and the experience. A beautiful hotel but short of a 4/5 star experience. It is one of the most stunning Riads you will stay at. The restaurant serves great food, and the views are amazing - if you can handle the three floors of steep steps. Overall, you won't be disappointed but it felt like when we stayed there was no manager for those extra touches you expect when paying this much."
