This hotel was lovely! We had a small issue with breakfast, as it really is limited. But customer service and everything else was wonderful!

Palmetto Hotel is the premiere hotel to stay at in Charleston. Beautiful from the moment you enter the lobby to the rooms. Liam at valet is kind, greets you with a warm smile, and was extremely helpful. Staff was overall great. Breakfast included features coffee, tea and pastries which were delicious. Rooms were spacious and modern. Cleaning staff kept the rooms impeccable. Hotel is perfectly situated in downtown with easy access to all sites. Palmetto is a must stay

Easily the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Cocktails were fantastic, staff accommodating and incredibly friendly, and the rooms/facilities were spotless. Can’t recommend enough!

Was greeted warmly and after receiving room key, offered a complimentary cocktail. Valet brought up our bags & was so friendly and adorable (Brandon). Our turn down service was incredibly gracious; asking if we needed waters or towels. Front desk also very welcoming. Bar open 'til 11:00 and it was a chilly, drizzly night so this was most appreciated. Spoke to the hotel manager as we waited for our car to be brought around and guess what? Equally engaging and pleasant. Cannot wait to go back to the Palmetto. Have stayed at other properties on King and State Streets.
Hands down our new favorite. The people make this place glow.

Total over priced hotel total ripoff.
1st room very small had to walk sideways along wall next to bed never have i had such a small room pictures lie about this place. 2nd it was cooler there and we had no heat in our room as it was in the mid sixties in our at night. 3rd continental breakfast was a joke so small i had to eat muffins each day so not much and no variety at all.
Pictures of bar made it look good size was very small also. 4th tv was very limited with few channels so at night not much to watch if you wanted movies you had to stream Netflix if you had it which we did but not easy to set up.lastly when i got my parking valley charge it was for 55 a night what a high price as we pretty much dropped off our car and walked everywhere as we only took our car 1 time to go out the other to go home complete ripoff
