I was in town with my boyfriend for a wedding Thursday through Sunday. We cannot speak highly enough of the Loutrel and our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, well stopped, and the beds were extremely comfortable. He had to work from the room Friday and found it to be appropriate to conduct zoom meetings, and phone calls. The staff was excellent as well all of the amenities. The breakfast changes daily and was delicious all three mornings we were there. We are already looking forward to staying there again Next time We are in Charleston.
Valet parking is $40 a day. However, you can park down the road in a parking garage that is cheaper.

We were passing through town and we're so delighted to run across the Loutrel. This hotel is absolutely amazing in every way, location, convenience, boutique, luxury, Etc I will definitely be coming back in the future. The staff and amenities here are unbelievable. So many fine touches for a small hotel with such charm.

Form the time you arrive at valet until you leave, the service is impeccable. Always ready to help. The room was very well kept and a personalized message/postcard on the bed welcoming you was a nice touch. The snacks and drinks (water and soda) in the room are complimentary. Another nice touch was the turn down service, with another card wishing me a good night with a treat. I love the thoughtful touches. It is truly a must stay. You will not be disappointed! I will make The Loutrel my main stay when visiting Charleston.

Loutrel is immaculate, intimate, luxurious and a good value. Matouk linens. Walking distance to King St. Lovely complimentary breakfast (Eggs Benedict, homemade granola) super comfy bed. Highly recommend from a snobby and picky traveler.

The Loutrel exceeded my expectations in all areas! This is a boutique hotel located in the French Quarters of Downtown Charleston. The service was amazing, the rooms were spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. The hotel has an ambiance of relaxation and luxury southern charleston. The lobby has a nice bar and happy hour as well.

We loved everything about this boutique hotel. The mezzanine club room was an unexpected plus. Breakfast was excellent and the bar lounge was very comfortable. Staff was very accommodating as well. The location was great.

I booked for a bday/anniversary trip bc of the great reviews however we were extremely disappointed. It’s across the street from a rundown convenience store, no real picturesque window views, restaurants close by where basic, no amenities such as a gym, spa or pool. The “game room” was a room full of couches, the bar and dining area very small and uncomfortable. $40:day for parking on top of the room fee is a bit much. Breakfast was basic and had no real selection. The finishes and decor were top notch, and the quality of the furniture was excellent however you don’t really get much more than that for the high price tag. It was overpriced and underwhelming IMHO.

The Loutrel was amazing from the second we stepped in the front door. From the valet to the check-in process to all the included amenities. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
