The hotel is centrally located with being near to all major attractions and shopping places in the city , Great room and service . Recommended to stay

Central location but nowhere to drop bags near hotel. Neet ti oark in the NCP carpark about 1/4 mile distant then transport bags from there to hotel. Cars not allowed down street to NCP car park so took about 30 minutes to navigate the myras of one way streets to locate it. Hotel could not advise directions to get there from adjacent street. Hotel is advertised as 4 star but not sure on whose scale. Room window wouldnt close properly therefore steamed up most of visit. Bathroom has no power outlet for razor and extract did not work. Pillows are rock hard and when asked for replacement softer ones, was advised all pillows are the same as they are hypoallergenic! However 2 replacements were provided. There are no chairs except for a solid desk chair. Asked if any seating chair was missing and told there are none provided. Again 4 stars on what scale?

Hotel was in a fab location for our needs the gentleman on reception were very friendly and rooms were warm comfortable and clean ,

Lovely overnight stay for work. Friendly staff, comfortable and felt safe for someone travelling alone. Would be great to have a bit more choice re: tea/coffee for decaff/herbal

Close to the Cardiff Castle and train station. Wifi not the best and would drop out when using. Easy walk to dining options and shops.

I would always stay a the Royal Hotel, because the Staff are very friendly and helpful ,plus the hotel is in the right place highly recommended
