H10 Cambrils Playa

We booked this hotel at the last minute to escape the weather in the UK. We are so glad we did as it was just perfect. All the staff were amazing and made our stay so enjoyable. The hotel was absolutely spotless. We don’t really like buffet food but could always find something nice to eat. Whilst sunbathing you can order delicious cocktails to your lounger and we have to mention Pablo who was great. Our room had everything we needed. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending. We will definitely come back.

Our third visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed. The staff at this hotel are welcoming and helpful throughout., from reception , restaurant to housekeeping all a creit to H10. Hotel is spotlessly clean & fresh ,as are the rooms ...well done housekeeping !. Food is good ,lots of variety so something for everyones taste. Rooms have comfy beds , good bathroom with great shower. Location is great , beautiful beach just across the road , and flat walkway as far as the eye can see. Would recommend and will be back !.

Negatives: Very hard beds, cold bland food, erratic shower temperature and pressure. Next to a busy main road. More staff needed at peak times. Positives: Fantastic staff, all very welcoming and helpful, always smiling. Very hard working. Spotlessly clean, very relaxed atmosphere, superb pool area. Spacious room, free safe. Free water dispenser available 24/7.

This was our third visit to the hotel and still think it’s a good hotel to visit. If you book directly it’s very good value and offers a relaxing stay in a great location. We hired bikes for the first time and loved that so would definitely recommend doing that! Óscar in the animation team also deserves a shout out - he was brilliant! We had a junior suite but were slightly disappointed that it didn’t have two bathrooms and two balconies like the junior suite we had last year. Should these not be different classes of rooms with differing prices? We also weren’t informed that it had a conjoining door with the next room along and could hear everything that was said by people in the next room. This meant we felt like we couldn’t use the second room that we paid for properly, and again another reason for there to be a different price point - the suite we had last year had no conjoining room. Afraid I have to echo comments on the food from some of the other recent reviews. It seemed very repetitive compared to previous visits, with veal and hake both on the menu an awful lot. Also had a problem with some desserts still being frozen and would have been nicer to have more variety and fresh options for the main desserts. On our last day it was also disappointing that a number of items ran out a good 45 mins before the end of the service. Overall we definitely still enjoyed our stay but unfortunately it wasn’t as good as previous visits - I don’t think we will be back for a good while now and hope our feedback is taken on board in the meantime

Lovely relaxing week at this friendly hotel! Staff in all areas so helpful and pleasant! Standard of cleanliness exceptional and a particular mention to the excellent cleaning staff! Really good location and lovely walks to Salou and Cambrils centre.

We have just returned from a 11 night stay at h10 cambrils playa. It is a very nice hotel and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food is buffet style and was very tasty. There was a wide variety on offer, and even the fussiest of eaters would find something they liked. The only downside for me is the the air conditioning was not turned on until the end of May. Whilst 23/24 degrees may not be hot for natives or people used to hot weather, for british people it is very hot. The option to turn on air-con would have been very much appreciated. All in all a very enjoyable holiday and i would return.

Hotel lovely and clean large bedrooms , 10 of us all together on one floor , receptionist lovely very helpful , free kettle free safe , the hotel is very close to the beach and a lovely stroll to the town , bus cheap and very reliable if You want to go further . Couple of Irish bars you can walk too . The food ok repeative ,but something for everyone ,and we had a very fussy eater 😳most of the desserts that out were frozen most nights , maybe should be defrosted earlier the bar staff were excellent as was most of the entertainment all in all a lovely hotel would visit again .

Not very impressed with our stay here. We were half board but our rooms were room only, no kettle, sink or anything that would be of any use to people who aren’t all inclusive. That’s on us though, shouldn’t have presumed that facilities would be available if not all inclusive. Every other holiday/hotel has had these previously. Nowhere to sit, it’s literally beds and toilet. Very basic for the price we paid. The hotel was very clean which is always important. Cleaning staff were good and helpful. The hotel and area wasn’t the most welcoming or friendly. A lot of very rude people around, creating a horrible atmosphere and not very helpful - this including staff, other guests and locals. Which I could understand if it was full of young people drunk and loud but it was a family hotel/area. Most unwelcoming area I’ve been on holiday yet. The food- not the best. Zero on for children although it’s meant to be a hotel for families. Luckily my kid will try different things but as an adult even I struggled most nights to find something edible. If you don’t like veal or lukewarm food then you’re screwed. Bit into a sausage and cracked my tooth on a big hard item inside. Room cards. Only get one per room and they constantly need reset. Ours needed reset over ten times. Back up and down to reception repeatedly to get in our room. Kids club- basically a room with colouring sheets and connect 4. Absolutely rubbish. Most expensive holiday I’ve been on but wouldn’t return.

Stayed here for a week in May..Good selection of food for breakfast and dinner...lovely pool area..well maintained..games in the afternoon..have to mention that Oscar was absolutely brilliant with the guests and made everyone feel a part of the games and included..seemed to remember a lot of people's names too!!!
