This location is so perfect if you want to walk around the streets of Calgary. My room was a standard King it was the best experience I’ve ever had. They just had a moment of tech issues when it comes to claiming my breakfast voucher, but aside from that, the staff were so nice, they kept the room clean, the amenities were so worth it.

Show that you care!
The hotel is new, beautiful and well located. The breakfast room is impressive with its size, tall ceilings, views and terrace. The breakfast itself is great with its variety, including waffles and a delicious South Asian(?) vegetable stew each day. The suites are large and well equipped, and the bed comfortable. Now if only the staff could treat customers a bit better.
We paid $30 for underground parking, which was important to us because we got an upgraded rental car and were liable for it. On the second day, the garage was completely full, with more cars entering the garage - thanks to a broken capacity indicator that permanently shows 208 spaces.
Staff basically blamed it on the fact that the garage is a private facility unrelated to the hotel. They sent us to two nearby surface lots. One was only available till 8:00 at a cost of $22.52. The second one was a dirt field.
1. I don’t care whose lot it is. You sold me access to it at an extortionate price and did not mention any other options, implicitly endorsing it.
2. Don’t sell more spaces than you have, especially at that price.
3. Know and explain options. Don’t direct your customers to a lot that only sells space till 8:00 for over 3 times the price as the next lot. You are wasting my time.
Then at 4:00 am, we were woken up by a loud motor noise coming from the fridge. We had to move it and unplug it (it’s a full size fridge, not a hotel fridge). The clerk’s reaction? “Sorry about that, I’ll tell maintenance.”
We had one night parking taken off the bill. No consideration for the hassle both from the parking and the fridge.
You can do better. Better policies, better communication and a bit more generosity.
Overall, not a good experience.
Renovated facility that offered a pleasant surprise. We spent the night there prior to flying out of YCC. They offered to keep our vehicle there for the week that we were gone for at a very reasonable rate and provide shuttle service to the airport in the early am for our departure. Staff went above and beyond when the shuttle was not available and had a prepaid cab ready waiting to take us to the airport that morning. On our return late at night a similar situation at the airport were the shuttle wasn’t available a cab was provided to take us back to the hotel late at night. They provided a wonderful full meal breakfast voucher in their restaurant so we left in the morning happy on a full stomach. Can’t say enough good things about the front counter staff. Will be there again soon.

Our flight departing Calgary was cancelled for 24 hours so we were put up in this hotel by the airline. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, special shout out to Stacey in the lounge who worked so hard to make sure everyone whose flight was cancelled was fed and full of drinks! Also special shout out to the chef that night, he was alone and still managed to get all the delicious food out in a timely manner! These two really stepped up and made our rather gloomy stay much more enjoyable! The rooms were clean and comfortable, big soft pillows on the beds and you could control your own room temperature. The front desk staff also accommodated a late check out for us as we had so much time to waste the next day. Thank you to the staff, you’ve really worked hard to turn our trip around!
The Executive Residency by Best Western Calgary City View North offers the guest a newly built hotel with 117 rooms. Ten of these rooms are suites with a separate bedroom. All rooms are equipped with a full kitchen including a 2-burner cook top, walk-in shower and beautiful modern furnishings. There are two physically challenged suites and five garden rooms which are also pet friendly.
This new Executive Residency hotel overlooks the Calgary city skyline and is adjacent to wonderful pet friendly walking trails. The hotel is just steps from several restaurants in the Harvest Hills area. While this Executive Residency hotel is considered an airport property due to its proximity, it also provides easy access to Cross Iron Mills, the largest outlet mall, the downtown core and the QE II Highway.
We are an airport property, with proximity to the urban center, but in a somewhat suburban setting. Amenities include a beautiful indoor pool and hot tub area, well-equipped fitness center, and meeting space for 150 people. There is a full-service restaurant offering a full complimentary hot breakfast for the guests or a grab and go option for breakfast as well. In the evenings we offer a quiet drink at the bar with snacks or a full course dinner in our beautiful restaurant. There is a covered, heated grill area on the lower level for barbecues and an upper deck off the restaurant with a gorgeous city view.
In addition, the hotel offers affordable rates and luxury accommodations, and is a perfect choice for the business or leisure guest as well as tour groups.
ผผู้เข้าพักFantastic staff who were really helpful, lovely room and nice breakfast. Great location as it's a short walk to 39th Ave Calgary TD which gets you into the heart of the city. They were happy to let us leave our hired Harley Davidson close to the main entrance.
ผผู้เข้าพักMy family stayed here for one night upon our arrival in Calgary since our flight wasn't scheduled to arrive until 10 pm and we were heading out to Banff the next day. It was a good thing that we did as our checked luggage got delayed for a day and it took a until 1130 pm until we were able to arrive at the hotel due to the paperwork involved. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from baggage claim. Our first impression upon check in was that it was a modern hotel with good service. We quickly checked in and then came back down to try to grab some dinner. Last call at the restaurant was at 11:45. Only a limited menu was available since the kitchen had already started cleaning up, so we ordered a burger, fish and chips, a reuben, and a salad. After a 10 minute wait, the food came out and it was really good. Everything was cooked very well, and even my wife who doesn't like salad, wanted more salad. I would rate the restaurant as a place worth visiting as a standalone restaurant. The next morning, my kids had a complementary breakfast due to my titanium status which they enjoyed as well. My wife went down later and had the salmon and another salad which she ate every single bite of. The hotel is also located right next to the car rental counters so it was a 2 minute walk to get our rental car when we left for Banff. I highly recommend this airport hotel when you are in Calgary and be sure to eat at the restaurant. We're planning to stop in for a bite before our departing flight.
