Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. Perfect location and great food. The view is amazing. The bedroom suites are fresh and tidy. Would definitely recommend and love to return. The hotel went above and beyond during our stay, Thank you very much.

It was a business cum tourist visit. We really had a memorable stay at Le Meridien in El Vendrell. The location is simply breath taking with the Ocean in the background. The hotel has many amenities that you can truly enjoy. All the receptionists at the desk were so helpful and super friendly especially two lovely ladies, Gift & Manuela, even the manager were always ready to help & accommodated us in the best possible way. The hotel has many amenities like a beautiful spa that also has huge therapeutic whirlpool, saunas & a steam sauna. There’s also a swimming pool on the top deck. Every morning you can enjoy a huge breakfast buffet with a large variety of hot & cold beverages & foods. However, there were not much hot options for vegetarians. With vegetarians growing, I hope they start having more vegetarian options at breakfast, lunch & dinner. If you’re looking for a good break to relax, this is the place to go. If you want to try out the local cuisine & international cuisines, there are several restaurants very close to the hotel that you can dine at. I also made a suggestion to the hotel to put up a gift shop for shopping lovers. The fun & scenic train ride to Barcelona is only an hour. Terrogona is another beautiful place close by, real worth visiting. It’s only about a half hour car or train ride from El Vendrell. Overall we really enjoy our visit to El Vendrell. I highly recommend you stay at Le Meridien. It’s a fun place to be at, as a couple or a family.

Eric is a caring, dedicated person, available and who always has a communicative smile ! We visited this resort following a very port intensive cruise that ended in Barcelona. It was the perfect place to relax before heading home. Not only was the hotel able to accommodate our early revival, we were upgraded to a duplex suite with oceanfront balcony! The beach was sandy and umbrellas and chairs were readily available. The water was still warm enough to enjoy. We spent two afternoons relaxing in the sunshine at the beach. We walked along the beach front boardwalk to Calafell (less than 10 minutes) where there were a number of casual restaurants. On our last night, we enjoyed a lovely dinner at Restaurant D.O. at Le Meridian. Beautiful ambiance and great service made this dinner a perfect ending to our vacation. The front desk staff were extremely helpful, particularly setting up an early morning taxi to the airport on a national holiday. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel and would not hesitate to return on a future trip to the Barcelona area.

The day before our check-in we had to cancel our reservation due to medical reasons. 3 days later we could still start our stay. Hotel Le Meridien Ra was extremely flexible and concerned about our situation. Check-in and check-out dates were adjusted without any problems and without an additional charge, even though we had booked without a cancellation option. We particularly appreciate the efforts of manager Mr. Martin van Halteren for the warm welcome and hospitality and for arranging everything perfectly at such short notice. Her was taking care of everything so we could still enjoy a fantastic stay at Hotel Ra. Dear Mr. Martin, our special thanks and appreciation for your efforts. We decided to repeat our stay this year in the same property, and never regretted it. The main reason was the convenience of the location and property for vacationing with three children. Everything I said last year remains, the staff did go an extra mile to make us welcome and always giving attention to children in particular. Special thanks to the lady in charge of the beach/ the manager who made the kids feel entitled to cookies even when she wasn't around. This year we stayed in one of the residence apar**ents which turned to be cheaper then booking two separate rooms. We'll gladly repeat the experience.

We stayed in the family suite which is excellent for a family of 4 (kids are 7 and 10). We had our own privacy wall you could open and close and the room was very spacious. The kids loved the beach and the waves. We had been traveling quite a bit around Europe and this was the perfect last stop for relaxation and beach time. Plenty to do along the beach - shops and other restaurants. Highly recommend for families.

Incident on the beach, unrespectful family which moved our personnal belongings, the GM is useless. seems that the first row in the beach is not free, which is not spécified anywhere, and seems to be normal for the GM, when its clearly not. so its a five stars hotel where they make you pay what should be included according to the terms when we book. it seems also ok to reserve sun beds with towels according to the GM. also the rooms are full of defaults, not at a five stars hotel level at all. finally the swiming pool is unheated, so not used at all.

I had an absolutely fantastic time! The entire staff was incredible, very welcoming, extremely helpful and always ready with a smile. I am already planning my next stay!! When I arrived I was very grumpy from a long 2 days of trravel and was greeted with champagne-from the moment arrived to departure I was in heavan.
