Ensana Buxton Crescent

Friendly staff, decent breakfast, allows us to park front of hotel for loading and unloading. Some of the pools are closed due to out of service though.

Had a lovely stay at ensana buxton crescent. Spa facility is fantastic. Its nicely scented everywhere at the hotel. Breakfast is delicious, very high quality ingredients. The crescent room is spacious. For this price and the quality of food and facility, i doubt if you can find anything better than this in uk.

酒店位置在鎮中心非常好找，內部環境也不錯，相比很多建在老房子裏的酒店內部十分寬敞，一個人住所以選了最小的閣樓房，相當於單間，但其實閣樓也有其他更大的房型，所以不用怕閣樓。設施很新，很好用，浴室水流特別大，床也很舒服。酒店的工作人員非常友好，幫助很大，早餐是半自助，環境優雅食物新鮮。屋頂泳池雖然小，但是也不錯了，人少的時候體驗更好，位於地下的spa區很大，各種功能的房間很多，有點像國內的洗浴中心，美中不足泳池的温度不算很高，但也不會冷，室內的spa池温度還可以，但也不算高。温泉和早餐含在房費裏非常方便，入住期間spa和泳池也隨便用，這一點非常舒適。

Excellent weekend at the crescent hotel in Buxton. Room lovely and staff at hotel so friendly and polite. Nothing too much trouble. From laughing with the staff at check in about my bike storage to the concierge wandering around Buxton tying to find the person who blocked the bike store in Excellent port and lemon at the bar - thank you. Spa massage excellent - think it was Claire Spa brilliant wished I could have stayed longer So if you intermediate cyclist you can store your bike there and access early in morning and make it back for breakfast as goes on till 11. Didn’t eat in hotel just because we wanted to explore further afield but breakfast was lovely Cycled up cat and fiddle which was fine then lovely downhill to reservoir- steep uphill though to long hill road back to Buxton Very beautiful scenery Opera house was fun night and if you do park run I would say one of the prettiest Lots of walks from hotel too No negatives at all re this stay! We worried about parking as not clear on ******* ( we booked it through ) but turns out lots of free parking next to hotel .

Excellent spa stay for two nights, love the extensive spa facilities here particularly the various pools. So nice on a cold night to sit in the outside pool. Food was good menu and range felt slightly more limited than our previous visit but still good. Beware the hand sanitizer at the restaurant which squirts all down your front if you don’t catch it quickly enough!!!

Excellent experience from start to finish. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff and the spa itself is the best I’ve been to. Went Sunday-Monday which meant it wasn’t too busy. Would highly recommend and will definitely try to come back. Made my husband’s 50th birthday very special.

Beautiful hotel . Beautiful spa . Will return as local . Breakfast was lovely just needed nicer breads/danish and more choice on that section compared to elsewhere . Cooked to order breakfast was lovely and lot to choose from on the menu . Didn’t eat here this time as last time the menu choices was limited and not amazing food and it’s expensive to dine when there’s a lot nicer places in the town . Rooms are lovely , fridge in the rooms was great , tv , lovely bathroom . Love how there’s plenty of towels everywhere to use . Just a bit bizarre how when you have checked out of your room and can still use the spa you can’t use the locker facilities in the changing rooms but can change in them when there is absolutely loads of empty lockers and you cannot get in and out of the areas as your card for the hotel won’t let you and you can’t get a spa wrist band to use so you have to keep finding someone to let you in , very unusual for a spa hotel and just a bit bizarre when they are easy solved problems .

The hotel is beautiful, the restoration is exceptional and very much in keeping with how I imagine the original would have been. The spa is very well appointed and also retains some of the original features, we made good use of it during our stay. The staff were all great, every single one of them made us feel welcome and were friendly and helpful. A few downsides were as follows: Our room (106) was lovely, front facing, beautiful decor but with a really strong smell of drains in the bathroom, that despite the efforts of the housekeeping team, seemed impossible to shift. We were told by reception that this is a regular problem with a number of rooms. They really need to try and sort this out as it did impact our stay. We had breakfast both days of our stay. The continental offering was excellent, but the full English breakfast was disappointing and not particularly well cooked, (bacon and sausage were tough) apart from the excellent poached eggs. Also, no choice of bread, just packet slice loaves, which is unusual for a hotel of this quality. The other, very minor, point but nevertheless annoying was that it is not possible to get any radio stations on the TV. I would have expected this to be available. In summary, this is a lovely hotel and we really did enjoy our stay. With a little more attention to detail and some minor changes it will undoubtedly become excellent. We would stay there again.

Lovely room, very tastefully decorated with all facilities required and none you didn’t! Very comfortable, excellent shower and bathroom. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of space. Staff very helpful. Parking no problem. Couldn’t fault it.
