The bright and open lobby layout is paired with contemporary furniture. The Plug and Meet gathering areas provide modern ergonomic seating, large writing walls and 56 inch televisions for presentation projection. The lobby also boasts a state-of-the art video wall and 24 hour Food and Beverage offering a wide selection of snacks and drinks. Other hotel amenities include healthy continental breakfast, an evening bar featuring wines by the glass and local brews. All bedrooms are equipped with 42 inch flat screen televisions, build in USB ports and free Wifi.
This hotel is aesthetically beautiful, the rooms are decorated to a high standard with nothing to fault. Staff were helpful. Our only let down would be location is out of city centre a good 45 minute walk, or rely on Uber and the continental breakfast was a little underwhelming and lacked choice and variety. Coffee not served at breakfast is an extra charge which I’ve never found elsewhere during travels especially when there is no drink making facilities in the room. Beautiful hotel, location more suited for business not a city break and things like breakfast and drink making aren’t great. On a positive note the neighbours dog who visits the front door is lovely and friendly.
El hotel esta muy bien, no se merece las 5* dado su estado de conservación. El restaurante “La Cucina” esta muy bien y muy buena la comida.
El JW Steak House es un robo, 80€ comer un solomillo con patatas y ensalada . …

CCeline ArgyropoulosThe stay was really great! the communication was smooth. The flat is clean and has everything one needs. I would ask the owner to consider adding a small trash bin in the bathroom, for women who need to dispose of certain things, without having to go back to the flat (my flat had a completely separate private bathroom, so I had to go through a small corridor to go back and forth, but this corridor is protected by a main door and gives access to only the flat and another one). The second suggestion would be to leave a roll of plastic bags, for the bin in the kitchen.
The location is a bit far from the center, so if you want to stay for a short period, I would advise another location (it takes around 30min to get to the center). The area is rather quiet, although Bucharest is known for the heavy traffic (and, apparently, many speed drivers and cars with tuned exhausters?).
The washing machine and the drying rack was a very nice bonus, they even leave some pods to do two loads. overall really great!
ผผู้เข้าพักWhen i got there, I was told I was too early (fair enough, check-in is from 2 pm and i got there around 11.30) I had sort of anticipated this, so thought i would just kill some time at the skybar which supposedly has a great view - but much to my surprise, I was told the skybar was closed, only open for breakfast. Must be the biggest attraction of the hotel, and in their wisdom, they close it! So instead, I took a walk heading towards the parliament building which is preety close by. When i returned a while later, room was now ready but oh by the way, the lift doesnt work! So i now had to carry luggage up the fire exit staircase (room was on 4th floor). Very narrow and poorly lit, so if you have trouble walking - good luck. Just hope you dont meet somebody coming down - passing them will be a challenge :-) Reception said lift would be fixed in a day or two!! So i made it to the room and cannot really decide what to think of it. On the one hand, it was spotlessly clean and looked very new and modern but on the other hand: No coffee / tea, There was a minibar with some wine and soft drinks but no beer,No glasses to be found anywhere (so I guess, just drink the wine from the bottle),WiFi works but not very stable - keeps dropping out. At breakfast, the skybar was now open - 2 people in front of me for the coffee machine which was quite slow - turned out they were not guests - but the breakfast room staff!. When they finally had their coffee they went straigth out onto the open terrasse for a cigarette (very small outdoor terrase and the staff now occupied 1/3 of it) and started chatting quite loudly - so terrasse is just as much for the staff - not the guests only. And really - if staff of any kind of establishment wants to have a loud discussion, do so away from the guests!! Breakfast was very poor - quite frankly pathetic! - some dry toast bread, a little bit of cheese and some slices of what looked like ham/salami - nothing warm like e.g. eggs (of course the staff were busy out on the terrasse smoking and having a loud conversation). Definately not worth any money at all - instead head out for one of the many cafes very close by. The lobby has what looks like a bar, but all they sell is coffee. Big surprise to me when late afternoon after a long walk i came back, asked for a cold beer and was told they didnt have any!! You can have some wine from the minibar, but you cant have a beer anywhere. The day of departure i waited a little in the lobby for my taxi to the airport. Need to use a bathroom?? Too bad - just like the lift, out of order. This would be fixed ”in a day or 2” so clearly not a priority for this place. Wifi, although it did work in the room - no luck in the lobby - could not connect at all. The guy in the lobby was nice enough but most of the time you will find him outside, having a smoke. All in all, extremely dissapointed with this place. Wish i had gone back to Hello Hotel instead - breakfast much much better, you can
Firstly this is not a 4* hotel. This is probably a 2 or 3 at a push. I booked this for 7 nights through ******* for a executive double with city view (if you’re going to book this hotel, book though them as you’re protected. First day I checked in to the hotel, thought it was weird that our room was on the 5th floor, strange for a city view. I get up to the room and the key doesn’t work for the room. Back down the lift and already 3 people waiting with the same issue. Get back up to my room again, enter and looks like something from the early 2000s, marked walls and furniture. Also this is a standard room with no bath unlike the booking suggested. Went back downstairs and the receptionist said this was a executive room. Yeah ok, thought I’d let it slide and just make the most it it. Went out through the day, came back and thought I’d see what the restaurant was like. Restaurant was open from 7-10pm. Half 8 and it was closed, In fact, this wasn’t even open the whole evening. Asked for some water and they couldn’t give me it. Used the water in the mini fridge. Day 2 key didn’t work again, mini fridge wasn’t re stocked and bar and restaurant shut again. No water supplied, already eaten out so didn’t need the food. Day 3 key didn’t work again, mini fridge wasn’t restocked, just to add, air con is also absolutely crap. Restaurant was open but not for food, got some nice wine. Had already got water today from the shop so didn’t need that. Day 4 key didn’t work again, mini fridge hasn’t restocked again, after a long day out, walking 12 miles in total around, all I needed was a nice glass of wine and some water. RESTAURANT CLOSED! they wouldn’t even get us a glass of water or fill up the damn mini fridge. This was it, I contacted ******* and explained the situation, they spoke to reception once and were advised to call back Monday, called again and was told they couldn’t supply us with our room as the floor was taken for a party. They basically downgraded us to make room for a party and didn’t think to tell us, rather just lie. 3 days left so left the hotel and went to the crown plaza, a real 4* hotel. I sit here with a glass of wine writing this review,l. Hotel is not very well ran, it’s on its way out, please don’t stay here unless you’re happy with a bed and breakfast with a crappy night sleep Avoid like the plague. Ps before I leave breakfast was reliable, basic as anything but it was always open.
I stayed in this hotel with my friend for 3 nights. It is a nice hotel with modern feel. The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated, bathroom is big (toiletries provided), there is also a mini fridge, coffee machine, and the bed is so comfortable. The breakfast is very nice, loads of choices from hot food to continental (highlight for me). Reception is on the second floor, there was a boots/shoes machine cleaner which my friend really love (must try to). Location wise its central in old town, loads of nice restaurants and to walk around. I would have rate a 5 star, but just be aware if your a light sleeper, you may find it hard to sleep due to the loud music from night clubs nearby. Just bring a good quality earplug or airbud, you'll be find then. We didn't sleep well on our first night due to noise and heat in the room (couldnt open window due to noise) aircondition was set for winter time as per male reception staff. But 2nd night was not too bad we open the window for few minutes turn off aircon and had my airpods with me. The reception will provide earplugs if you ask. The noise is not hotels fault don't get me wrong its just the night clubs sorrounding by, usually starts from 11pm to 3am with loud music. If your up to partying this hotel would be the best. Otherwise a lovely hotel to stay if in Bucharest for few days, cleanliness is topnotch.
Clean, tidy room in great location! Close to dining options and lots of night life. Someone is always at the front desk if you have any questions and they were very helpful with the checking in process. The room has a balcony, comfortable bed and robe/slippers are provided as well as a tiny kitchenette of mini fridge, microwave, and some dishes. I would stay there again as the price was very good for what was provided.
