A lovely nights stay- very welcoming at check in. Room was impeccably clean and the beds very comfortable. It is right on a busy road but not overly noisy.

It was a large clean room with one double ned and one single bed. Bathroom is also big and clean. We had a very comfortable night.

I stayed here 2 nights due to the great reviews. As a single female I did not feel unsafe. Room and bathroom were spotless. Great price too! Will stay again!

The reception guy was welcoming and helpful, the room was newly renovated and cozy, a/c was turned on when I first came in after a 8 hour ride in the cold and windy winter, the roo was nice and warm.
However there was a strong cigarette smell across the whole room and I didn't sleep well for that reason, everything else was great and will consider to stay again.

We had everything we needed for an overnight stay at the Guiding Star motel. Easy check in and check out, rooms are very clean and fairly updated. For what we needed, it was perfect! A great location too - off the freeway from Ballarat side and close to the city.

Friendly staff. Property is dated and a pretty noisy spot. Bed was comfy but we rolled into the middle all night.
