The place was splendid! Located close to many good restaurants, SNR and MTS. The pool was really good for adults and the place was well kept. Just don't forget to bring a toothbrush. Hehe. We loved the junior suite!

Ideal for families who just want to relax and stay in the heart of Davao City. Near major malls and beside the hotel is the ppark and durian museum. They booked us in the 3rd floor which is very accessible for kids to dive into the pool. Our breakfast was great, we encountered a minor incident but the kitchen manager handled it very well. We will definitely book again soon. The price deal was good also. Thank you, Apo View!

The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. The room was very clean, and everything was provided—shampoo, tissue, lotion, body wash, soap, and even a mini refrigerator. They had everything you could possibly need. And that’s not all—their breakfast was delicious too! All the staff were very accommodating, friendly, and respectful. We truly had a wonderful and comfortable stay!

I had a good stay at Grand Regal Hotel. The hotel is a decent place to stay, especially if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and relaxing. The pool area was actually one of the highlights… clean, spacious, and great for unwinding after a long day. However, the location is a bit inconvenient since it’s quite far from malls, convenience stores and other establishments. The rooms were also a little old and could use some renovation or upgrades. Overall, it’s a good hotel with nice amenities and friendly atmosphere, but not the best option if you prefer modern rooms and easy access to shopping or city attractions.

We arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for. When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem. Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

The location is very convenient for me going to the airport, only thing I am disappointed a little bit the shower isn't working 😁 I collected water in a bucket for shower and for brushing teeth 😅. The Electric Kettle won't work either 😔. I hope the staff will check it properly(room 18) . The rest I'm happy for the service. I invited my aunt and my cousin in my room just to get some stuff and they went after I'm glad staff are not so strict. This my my 2nd stay in that hotel next trip I'm still want to book and stay
